I am day 7 clean. Doing GREAT with one exception. I have a co-worker who drives me crazy....so much so that a big part of my use was to be able to deal with this person.....Today I feel like I could literally choke her until the last breath comes out of her lungs....(not really)

It is so hard dealing with this stress without using !!!

Hi don't know you but got a big kick out of that don't we all know wack jobs like that but they are not worth going to jail huh????

I'm so stupid...If I didn't let on that she bothered me so I'd be in a much better place. She knows she gets under my skin and I swear she deliberately does things to irk me........grrrrrrrr

Maybe you should read Ramons post from today.....you will find you are not alone. He wasn't having a very good day either.....it was an excellent post! Congrats on 7 days clean.....

By the way GREAT WORK on to day 7.It is a shame this woman is hagging on you.Is she real nasty or just a lonely unhappy person?

I wish...but no. Our boss even had a sit down with us and told us we had to start getting along and working together and I'm seriously contemplating changing jobs because this woman makes my job so darn difficult to do. She has no respect for deadlines, priorities or the chain of command and rarely, if ever, is held accountable for her actions - leaving me to clean up her mess.

VP of sales and marketing for a biopharmaceutical company. The really bad part - I have to leave on business to Geneva with her tomorrow for 3 days....two go out.....only one comes back!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

This sound strange but maybe she likes you .. some people act one way and really inside they want something cant have YOU MY DEAR could that be possble..try have a good rest of the day it will pass soon .. love poopie

She is not a peer but a kiss a**. Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to get fired from the company I work for.

Congrats on the 7 days clean! That is excellent!

As to your coworker...have you got a network of friends you can call and talk to when "stuff" happens. Today it might be your co-worker, who knows what it will be tomorrow? Are you working a program of recovery? From my expereince, I've learned the hard way, as so many others have, that I can't just get clean, I need to have a plan to stay clean. So this time I'm sticking real close to NA/AA and I'm seeing a substance abuse counselor weekly.

Kl63 you might enjoy my previous post , its as shame but whenever a group of women work together there are always problems ,clicks, nightmare workers etc. No offence at all to you ladies Im sure most would agree with me. My mom was an rn for a big obgyn practice for 20 yrs same problem ( Ive heard all the patient obgyn stories you can imagine over donner as a kid, some left me not very hungry HAHA , my wife is an rn also no matter where she worked , hospital ,plastic surgeon, obgyn doesnt matter there was always a problem , and no its not her she is the hardest working and easiest person to get along with and Im not saying that cause I love her its just a fact. If you have frequent flyer miles see if you can bump to first class and leave her in back. Or mention to the flight attedant that someone is wearing calonge or perfume that is making your allergies act up and could you change seats what ever you have to do mabey pretend to be asleep the entire trip HAHA. Good luck. and have some fun on your trip ditch her "by accident or missunderstanding" Best Ray and go have a ball

As most of you know, I've worked around crazy women for the last 12 years... These women are all in competition with each other, many have emotional problems (you have to be a little crazy to do this job), many drink or do drugs... and yet when I started my internship this summer at a Marketing firm, I had more problems with backstabbing, cattiness, and bitchiness than I ever had before. These women were ruthless! At least at my other job, we knew we were all crazy and could laugh about it... in the professional world, the sane people mix with the crazy people and you don't know who's who.
