If We Were To Meet

somewhere in the middle

I think it would be fun to find out where that is....:-)

Diana,

What a cool link. I plugged in a couple of friends (I live in NC) and found myself in Tulsa, Topeka, or Wichita.

Where are you?

I did meet a board friend earlier this month and it was pretty amazing. The online relationship translated seamlessly to F2F. I had imagined total speechlessness except for the occasional word bubble saying, "LOL" hanging over our heads, but in fact, we picked up talking like we had always known each other in personal presence.

I wonder if the moderators would be willing to sponsor a board get-together sometime in NYC? (LMAO! Call out the National Guard!)

Thanks for the post. I hope you're having a great day.

Love,
Gina
ww- you NEVER cease to amaze me with what you find and share. what a great site! i forget where you are ... oh canada....:)
and you know exactly where i am... so where do we meet!
how are you feeling today? how was breakfast?

gina - glad to see you posting here (again)... your light is so needed and welcome!
i often read the pp board but don't post there ... had a nasty experience awhile back...

yes all of you come to nyc, we'll take a long walk and have coffee or tea and cupcakes!

:) jojo
Jo~ I just happened to click on the morning news the other day and she was talking about it....:-) It represented fairness to me. Metaphor for life. Count on me to make things deeper than it is. Compromise.... bringing people together which I am always thinking resolves everything when it comes to addiction issues. We are never alone and when we "meet in the middle", we can conquer the world.

However, another trip to New York sounds divine ! ;-)

What I find really interesting about this website is when I plug in Jamv, Bryn, JoJo and now Gina, between all of you and me here in Calgary is Minneapolis and South Dakota. Coffee and cup cakes in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, anyone ! Or shoe shopping (for those so inclined) in Little Falls, MN....Wouldn't that be crazyfun ???? It's a small world after all....

Breakfast was good (but I only ate half, :-) weightwatchers trick) and through it all, I discovered my husband has a lot of patience for living with me ! I think the Sacred Geometry event I went to opened my brain up a little too much....

I'm off to my course tonight, all about crystals....looking forward to it ! You get to hear all about it (whether you want to or not) lol.

I'm also officially doing volunteer work again, it's just minor but it gets me out there again....it's with my son's ball tournament next weekend. I'll have to smile and be friendly though....that will be difficult. lol

Have a good evening, hope the sun is shining wherever you are !

Love and Light,

Diana
Crystals................kewl beans...........please share when you get time.

Well, I put down I live in the fifth dimension and you live in acturianville, and nothing came up..........how'd that work?

You're the best PPR..........like the ladies said..........amazing.

Hey, NYC for me is merely a two hour train ride.........and a pleasant one at that...........do ya know I have no idea where Canada is.........history and geography escaped this chica.........I think it's like UP.........and near that State where people say Down't ch new?"............and your Smarties are chocolate and ours are these little tiny pill looking thingies....kind of sour.

WW, still clearing my crystals in water set in the sun.......advisable.........all good things, Sister.
Bryn, you are so funny, lmao

here's an image http://www.squizfloats.com/images/m...-hemisphere.gif

I'm in Alberta.... the province with the bite taken out of it....above Montana. Yeah I talk funny and say "eh" alot because it sounds more polite than "huh" and a smartie without chocolate just ain't right imho. I don't own a dog sled....lol

Some of my favorite quotes...

I don't even know what street Canada is on.
Al Capone

A Canadian is someone who knows how to make love in a canoe.
Pierre Burton, historian

When they said Canada, I thought it was up in the mountains somewhere.
Marilyn Monroe, actress

Canada has never been a melting-pot; more like a tossed salad.
Arnold Edinborough

The beaver, which has come to represent Canada as the eagle does the United States and the lion Britain, is a flat-tailed, slow-witted, toothy rodent known to bite off it's own testicles or to stand under its own falling trees.
June Callwood

Many Canadian nationalists harbour the bizarre fear that should we ever reject royalty, we would instantly mutate into Americans, as though the Canadian sense of self is so frail and delicate a bud, that the only thing stopping it from being swallowed whole by the US is an English lady in a funny hat.
Will Ferguson

You know you're Canadian when....

Someone accidently stepped on your foot. You apologize.
You stepped on someone's foot. You apologize, then apologize for making them apologize.

You understand the phrase "Could you pass me a serviette, I just dropped my poutine, on the chesterfield."
You eat chocolate bars, not candy bars.
You drink Pop, not Soda.
You only know three spices: Salt, pepper and ketchup
You know that the four seasons means: winter, still winter, almost winter, and road work/construction.
You know that when it's 25 degrees outside, it's a warm day
You know which leaves make for good toilet paper.
You are excited whenever an American television show mentions Canada. You make a mental note to talk about it at work the next day.

Love and Light.... and my crystals will soaking by nightfall. :-)

Happy full moon !
ww-
oh canada:)
funny what you wrote and quoted... all i know as a new yorker that canadians are famous for being very friendly!

hey, what is best to soak crystals in? i usually soak mine in soap and spring water and let them dry in the sun. i have a beautiful one i've worn for years... i need to purify it due to the toxic atmosphere of where i'm working these days...

nothing works there so i'm just keeping myself safe:) (could burn a fire with sage there, too toxic...) i am a ol' sage smudger ... my home could use a good smudge ...
how are you all? eh?

or as we say here in nyc: "yo?!"

xo jojo

bryn wondering where do you live?

YO YOUSE,

How classic are those quotes........it's a BLUE MOON, ladies......spooky!

Jo Jo, I say YO......I say "Give me one with".......when I order.....hold your breath now........a cheese steak.......I'm a Philly girl, Jo Jo.......we;re like sympatico........born and raised and still the heck living here, Yo.

Jo, we wouldn't know what to do in no Canada......their Smarties got chocolate on them.......yeah if I get on the train in Trenton I'm in NYC in less than two hours........love going UP.......the theater, MOMA, the Village, the whole Christmas thingie........I'm a regular high class cultured chick, YO.

Blessing ladies, and beware this Blue Moon......I think.......Jo Jo, at your place of business.........if you feel the people are kind of negative forces.....if you can get a half glass of water and place it between you and that person or persons....just looks like you're having water........or just envision that white light around you........protect you.......and cross your arms....like fold them and that covers your solar plexus.

I'm surprised nobody booted this thread.......LOL......saying them crazy hippies.
There is so much tolerance on this board, and awesome human beings.

Jo Jo, Wonder Woman is going through some stuff.......I adore that lady.......she's like my Paula Abdul.....only not freaky like Paula......cause Paula says she's everyones personal cheerleader......yeah.....uh-huh, but Wonder Woman she for real gives people kudos and hope.

While she does her stuff and works on her.......I'll check over here for ya Jo....ya know we'll carry on for our girl Wonder Woman till she hops back to us.

Love and Light
WW -
Hope things get better real quick, whatever's going on. Here's my amusing Canada story. We have a little ski place in Vermont about 5 miles from the Eastern Townships of Quebec, hour and a half south of Montreal (great city). Last winter after having driven up with us for all of her 17 years, my younger daughter was going home from our place with her boyfriend and got lost. After we made mad fun of her over it, she said, "I knew we were lost when we saw the sign that said -CANADA 1-. That means we went north, right? And we live south." Yeah, one mile from Canada means you went north. Yeesh. In 2003 we drove along the Canada/US border from Michigan's U.P. to Maine then south to home - beautiful country. My husband wants to move there. There or New Zealand, that man needs an anchor.

Thanks for being you, Diana.

Peace~MomNMore
