Very interesting story. My brother just died 3 weeks ago from accidental overdose of oxycontin and I partially blame the doctor. The doctor had him on percacet, and 2 different milligrams of oxycontin, plus colonapin and I honestly believe that was to much pain medicine to begin with. It was an overdose waiting to happen.
Doctors have gotten out of control with prescribing pain medication and people are dying from this. I'm not saying doctors need to go to prison for this, but they do need to be looking into. The doctor my brother went to is a little country doctor and has people from all over going to see him just because he is so free with giving out the pain meds. I never thought of getting the DEA involved but that might just be a good idea. I can't bring my brother back, but if i can save another life, that would mean alot to me.
