I have a friend who has been drinking for 20 years and has gone through detox several times in the last 6 months. He tried treatment a long time ago and will not even consider going to treatment at the same place again. It seems that treatment options near him are very limited. I believe he might consider treatment if given some other options. Does anyone know where I should start? An intervention? He has medicaid and medicare, so price is a problem and I have no idea where to begin. He lives in the Dayton, Ohio area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I myself am a recovering drug addict, but I have private insurance that allowed me to go to a place I found very helpful. Thanks!
