Is Anyone On Revia?

I went to see an addictionoligist yesterday and we decided that I should start taking Revia everyday. In case you don't know what this is it is a pill you take everyday, morning, that would make it impossible to feel the effects of being high from the opiates. So if I were to feel weak one afternoon I know that If I were to get some vics they would do me no good. Obviously if I stopped taking the revia that would be a diff story. So I may take it everymorning or only when I am feeling weak or a trigger coming on. I have not heard anyone else talk about this. Is no one else on it. Anyone have any info......?
I've never heard of it, but I'd love to learn more about it!!!!

If it's safe and tested and have low side-effects, I may even see about getting off of the sub and getting put on something like that or Naltrexone (am I spelling that right???)

I don't need to take an opiate any more because I'm over the withdrawals..... I just need an opiate blocker to keep me from relapsing!
Revia is the drug Naltrexone which is an opiate blocker used in the treatment of heroin and other opiate addicts. It has also been found to have some use in the treatment of alcoholism and cocaine addiction. This is all I know about it. Rae
Hey seen this infor on Revia and thought people might like to kknow. Also it looks like you could get it on-line but I would think it best under the supervision of a doctor.
Hope it helps.

Before taking ReVia for narcotic addiction, you must be drug-free for at least 7 to 10 days. You must also be free of any drug withdrawal symptoms. If you think you are still in withdrawal, be sure to tell your doctor, since taking ReVia while narcotics are still in your system could cause serious physical problems. Your doctor will perform tests to confirm your drug-free condition.
