Is This Normal?

It's day two of this journey and I have a question.

My skin actually hurts to touch. Not like agonizing pain, but it feels very sensitive. Is that normal? Anyone else have that before?

Just wondering.

My hair actually hurt. Everything irritated me. It's all part of the withdrawal. The good news is, you never have to go through this again. I'm glad you are here.

Rachel
Thanks Rachel. Glad I'm here too!!! Do you remember if that sensation lasted long or was it gone quickly?

I know I was uncomfortable for a long time. On the seventh day I got a Shiatsu massage. It was painful but it broke up the knots and released toxins. I was sore for a long time and couldn't sit still. I think everybody is different. When i was younger I could snap through a detox in a weekend. This time, not so much. 40 was harder than in my 30's.

If youre on day 2, you dont have long to go. I remember feeling like I was going to jump out of my skin and yes, everything hurt. The good thing is that tomorrow will be better than today and each day will get better. Then, as Rachel said, you never have to feel that way again!!!

Love,
Marie
Looking forward to that day!!!!!

Well, I'm going to go lay down and try and get some sleep.
Good night all.

I may be back on tonight, not sure if sleep is going to be that easy.

Kerrin O
