It's A 'we' Program, However...

Okay, so I'm a little numb to group behaviour--not used to operating in a crowd. :)

It was pointed out to me yesterday, while meeting with my sponsor, that it's presumptuous for people to say, "WE," when talking to newcomers and assuming that they may speak for the group. They are not the 'Group Consciousness' and probably are trying to compensate for some other fear: acceptance, guilt, etc.

So. I realized that I've been doing that with newcomers here. Sorry. It's amazing that I hear what I need to hear when I need to hear if I'm capable of hearing.

Yep, I got taught early on that I can only speak for myself...even though it is a "we" program...I have to say your awarenesses are awesome whilst still being fairly new ...you've got it....and it shows that you are working on building a solid foundation for your recovery.
