Not only did I not cave in, I actually celebrated my birthday yesterday without one single smoke!! I am so proud of myself!! It's usually incorporated into my present - either to/from myself, or from a friend, or my husband...
I FEEL SO GOOD!!
HEY ANGELBABY: GOOD WORK ON STAYING CLEAN AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY! MY B-DAY WAS ON MAR.14TH AND SAME WITH ME I DIDN'T SMOKE ANYTHING! JUST CIGS. I'M A RECOVERING CRACK AND POTHEAD. AND YA KNOW, I KNOW THAT I DEFINATELY CANNOT SMOKE CRACK EVER AGAIN! IT DESTROYS ME IN EVERY WHICH WAY OF MY LIFE. BUT, I COULD SO GO FOR A JOINT RIGHT NOW. BUT I KNOW THAT I REALLY DON'T NEED IT...PLUS I'M TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT AND POT ALWAYS MADE ME EAT TOO MUCH.
SO, I GUESS I'M GLAD TO BE DRUG-FREE! IT FEELS PRETTY GOOD:)
ANYWAY, GOOD LUCK TO U. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Thank you - Thank You :-)
It really was an amazing feat for me. I had so much more to share this AM, but as usual, running late for church. I would be lying if I said it was easy, I really wanted to burn a great big fat one last night, but I am so glad I didn't follow through. I usually go to a concert and get wasted, then spend the next day (or two - as more candles are added to the cake :-)) recovering. And certainly would never have been able to get up for church. As it was though, the sermon today seemed as if it were written perfectly and specifically for my husband and I. I mean to say it was right on - I suppose I should not be so surprised.
Staying busy seems to be key for me. I spent the day at my in-laws farm. I bottle fed baby goats and calves, watched my son chase chickens, strolled through my great aunt's garden. Perhaps the fog is beginning to lift. I worry about the morning though - I shall try to remember today and how lovely it was to be really present.
Andrea123 - I hope you had an easy weekend - oh, you share a birthday with my aunt - do you have an aunt you always wanted to be like? She is mine - I think that is an interesting coincidence ~ Happy Belated Birthday to you ~
Kindest Regards,
Angel Baby
