Jack,
How goes it? Hope Thanksgiving went well.
Just was wondering if Occupy has effected you at all? Traffic? Have ya been to the camp?
Oh did ya see the retired Philly cop get busted in his uniform up there? Crazy stuff. Wore his old Captain's uniform. Made all the news.
You may be proud to know we have one person commited to social justice, and discord for corporate greed. The person I birthed is in it big time. She's marching and as my mom says "I always knew she'd get on her soapbox". Thankfully she's a tree hugger. Peacenik. Philly has truly been a model for all things getting along. The cops have been great. The kids are for the most part quite cooperative.
Downside? Alot of smelly youth, but it's all good if that's the worse they do:)
Missing you.
How's everyone elses Occupy if anyone else reads this?
I have to get your number- - Im driving to Philly at least once a week-
Ben Franklin Bridge, Betsy Ross, the Walt Whitman- man it is a confusing city to get around if your not familiar with it- - I think there is more traffic going in and out of Philly then NYC at rush hour- 5pm-to about 6 30- - thats about the time I usually leave- it takes about 2 hours to get back up here. Man this job is killing me-
-What happened to my 15 yrs in a little office, with my phone and computer, and all my peeps building cable assemblies for me to check- ordering the parts, keeping the inventory, etc..etc.. Now Im in a 24 ft truck (well sometimes a van)- driving all over NYC and the boros, and down to philly once a week- and oh yeah, I go to MT Airey Lodge in the Poconos, about once a week too- -
The occupy NY is slowing down a little I think- the cops came in like storm troopers last week. They took everyones tents, blankets, sleeping bags, and and now you cant sleep or set up camp in the park anymore. They had to get unnecessarily violent to get the point across- some things never change**
If I have a stop down toward Wall St- I bring a loaf of bread and jars of Peanut Butter and Jelly- I dont have the time to make friggin sandwiches>> but I drop off a bag , and maybe a jug of water or two- -
You know Jack, - like Henry Fonda(TomJoad) says in the speech at the end of Grapes of Wrath
I'll be all around in the dark. I'll be ever'-where - wherever you can look. Wherever there's a fight so hungry people can eat, I'll be there . Wherever there's a cop beating' up a guy, I'll be there . I'll be in the way guys yell when they're mad - I'll be in the way kids laugh when they're hungry an' they know supper's ready. An' when the people are eatin' the stuff they raise, and livin' in the houses they build - I'll be there, too." - - hahah
Anyway- its all good, I dont get down that far south to often so the traffic doesnt effect me- but when I do- -it can get bad. I try to stay away from the cops , I dont need to loss this job for aiding and abating, or some silly made up charge just because I support peoples rights to peacefully protest.
Ok- Ive been up all night. I drank a few glasses of wine, for the 1st time in about 2 years and with all that turkey- I slept from 6 pm till midnight. Then I couldnt go back to sleep- so Ive been up since 12- -No work today!! So I can just lay around and relax- I hope it rains though, I got a feeling Chickie wants all the leaves raked out in the back yard- -I just aint in the mood for that sh8t today
dont be a stranger -

im thinking the place to occupy is Pennsylvania Ave, those bailouts were a load of crap, the banks? puleez while initially the concept was something i fully embraced it seems to have evolved into.....what? im not even sure..watched a few college students on our local tv explaining the occupy and it sounded like, take from the rich and give to the poor because they dont have anything..has to be a better idea than that. while i certainly despise what SOME of the police are doing I am still damned proud to be an American and thank God every day that I live here and have the things I do, like the freedom of speech...theres my patriotic spiel for the day..
yes, we saw it here too...it DID look bad..here they are busy rousting neo nazi's that they discovered had been active for like a decade killing people....occupy might do well here too !

Neo-Nazi still active in Germany- - -Why am I not surprised?- -Actually ,that group is still active in lottsa places- - The police need to rousting those lunitics- -Its 2011 for cripesake, they are still in 1938
im thinking the place to occupy is Pennsylvania Ave
That is a good idea mG-
and I think a lot of those kids really need to get educated about why they are there- - a lot of them when they are interviewed sound clueless- like they are there because they want to relive an era long gone.- When protests and sit-ins really got results.
Hell, Im all for activism, and freedom of speech, the right to assembly ..etc.. but in NY too many homeless, and other lost souls went down there too camp out and try to blend in. So when the cops came in . and the news filmed the mini-riot- -everyone was thrown together. It just looked bad..
Usually protesters present a list of demands and we watch the T.V. to see the results. This time the reasons behind the protests are at the very heart of our existence. Hopefully, protesters are not only protesting because they want more pay, job security or other benefits of a corporate-world economy. Because, that system cannot last
I hope that at some point the Occupy leaders-announces ,it is more than that- More than just to be mad at our own economic collapse, unfair rates of pay, loss of jobs, Wall street bailouts, and corporate greed.
I hope that they include- a demand, that we consider an American-Western, and global strategy for dealing with our current path- -which is hurting not only the US economically , but the whole global community -
I guess thats my patriotic spiel for the day.. 530 am- man did I wake up fired up or what?
Guess , it was those 4 days off from work-

Hey you guys!1
Just poppin in on the subject of the Neo/Nazi,s!! Yes its still got a pulse,n,as Jack says not only in Germany, what you have to remember is that its these peoples Mums,Dads and Granparents that committed all these attrocities all those years ago and its genetic at times.Alot of them are proud of what their forefathers done,n,although i have a particular dislike for certain kinds of people it would take a really sad, mad, bad individual to commit these crimes although alot of them WERE brainwashed, alot of them were also sheep,n,followed the majority through fear or whatever sad reason they chose..
It does come in many forms though wether in the form of the K.K.K etc or whatever banner they walk under,,Anyway,,its only my opinion so A could be wrong,,,BUT A THINK AM RIGHT..xx

ps,,Got some gossip for the old gang but i,ll check it out 1st though maybe some of you know a bit more than me about the things that go on around my area,,lol......x.
