Yes I got Alex off to school and my girlfriend is coming over here to use my computer to take a test for her finals in college. Her computer is broken or something. Then I have got to go picl up 2 pairs of jeans I took to be hemed yesturday and go get my nails filled. I went last night to get my nails done but the wait was too long... Then I really need to get some Christmas shopping done. I hate waiting til the last minute, like I do every year. Then I wait and then freak out and start spending money like I have it something. If I were only rich i would shop night and day but then I would never have time to talk to you online,ha-ha..Well girl I guess I need to go jump in the shower before she gets here i look like hell. Rae, and I got my nails done yesterday..NOT... why do women care so much about their nails? Can you IMAGINE a guy doing that..my wife does it all the time..as long as mine are neat and trim and pretty much the same length, I'm ok.. hehehehe
OK I'm probaly gonna get the girls upset but me being a pure tomboy I could never understand the concept of going and paying $$$$ for something I can do for free at home......

Had to jump in about the nails. Mine, if I let them grow out, are even, never split, and grow out nicely, BUT, I have a "thing" about getting things under my nails so I keep them short all the time, I do like the way long ones look tho.
About recovery, or lack of it, I should say, mine went down the tubes. I had a stomach attack and started up again on percs, now I'm back to where I was. Does anyone know what pain management docs do and if its a good idea to go to one? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Briar hi its mollyjean or mj whichever.I have heard alot about pain Drs.I guess there are some good and some bad.I've heard and seen people get a worse habit from the help of a dr I guess its best to keep asking around and try to find one that really cares for his patients.....mj

Danny don't be talking about my nails now,LOL Let me tell you I grew up a big tom boy with jeans,t-shirts whatever. When I got married at 22 yrs, I married a how do we say this a man with money and he took me everywhere and always wanted to pay for me to look nice etc. Dress nice,hair colored,nails done and a tan year round. He is my now ex-husband but I still like to live that lifestyle with his child support check he send every month,ha-ha that was cold huh? but true!!!LOL I don't know what I would do if I could'nt get my nails done every 2-3 weeks.I used to be a real bad nail biter and this keeps me from nawling them off!!!! Might have to do with pills, might have to do with stress, I don't know. I've had lots of surgeries, i.e. two C-sections. gallblader, appendectomy, laparascopies and hysterectomy. It hurts from my liver to my pelvic area. I don't know.
But I have alot of crap going on in my life, you see my husband got sick about seven years ago, started with seizures and ended up with alot of mental problems, compounded by the fact that he's a recoverying alcoholic and its just nuts. I don't know what to do anymore. Seems like I can cope better with pills in my life than not. I don't post to people unless I read alot of posts from them and I've read alot of posts from you and feel that you are qualified to help me. Don't mean to sound arrogant, I'm really not that kind of person at all. You have five kids and addiction and from what I've read that you've written, seems like you are pretty sharp. I'm by the way from Chicago originally too. Actually the suburbs tho. Des Plaines and then Barrington Hills to be excact. Just seems like all I've done for so long is take care of people that I love and for once I'd like someont to take care of me.

Briar- being from Chi-caaa-go, you know that would be Dez Plainez...hehe..it seems like you have a lot on your plate. SO many operations. My sincere advice is you have to look out for your own health, be it physical or mental. After that many invasive operations, your own health should be 100% in your mind. BUT, you feel an obligation. We all do, to help fellow addicts. So take care of yourself first, then help the hubby...something I said to my wife the other night " You want the Richer and in Health" part, but you forgot about the "In Sickness and Poorer" part...I'm in Westchester BTW, if you know where that is..right next to Elmhurst and Oak Brook..I also had a house in Bloomingdale, Bartlett and Warrenville...and Hillside..Barrington Hills eh? OK..you have some dough, thats for sure..
