Jeff/shantel -thanks!

Jeff,
thanks for telling me what I needed to hear.
Shantel,
thanks for reaching out.
Today is a new day! I am stepping back and evaluating what happened and why.
It is still cool out here today, so, I am going to put on my running shoes and get a run in before it heats up.
Happy Sunday!
Gracie
Gracie, Sorry I didn't get back to you last night I fell asleep. Grandbabies wore me out. Your right todays a new day. Go out and enjoy your run. I'll be around later if you need to talk. Shantel
Gracie, Just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you. Did you go for that run this morning? Shantel
Shantel,

Yeah, I did, it felt good.

You know, I have been thinking more and more about pp's, thinking I could probably get that order that was put on hold and just take a few now and again. This relapse with drinking drove the point home to me again, that I am an addict.
There is no " a few."

You are so sweet to ask.
I know you are enjoying your grandkids, but, I hear you when you say they wear you out.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

Gracie

Gracie, The grandbabies are gone. Do you need to talk? Shantel
Shantel,

i don't know. I have been working pretty hard to make the farmer's market a success--and it is, so I guess the old way to relax and celebrate kicked in---have a drink.
But, what was one drink one night turned into way too many the next. It is a pattern for me, but, I had quit drinking for a long time ago, until, I started popping pp's and then I would drink to get the buzz back. However, I had not had anything to drink since I quit pp's in April.
So, I will start over again.
What strategies do you use, Shantel, to stay clean and sober?
I don't think I have ever read, what is your story?
