I think that all depends whom you are hooking up with. I know someone who married their wife of now 21 years, and 7 kids...lol STRAIGHT out of rehab.
But she was the right one.....she told him right up front, I LOVE YOU, but if you touch that s*** again, I'LL dump your a** so fast you wont know what hit ya"
I would CERTAINLY NOT reccomend that you start a relationship with anyone that is out of rehab herself or has had addiction problems herself that are fairly new or recent..........
I know in AA and so they recommend that you go to a lot of meetings, and surround yourself with a lot of people who have been where you are...
BUT
theres a whole world of people out there, that dont use, have never used, and dont even think about drug issues....why not use THOSE people to inspire you?
IM NOT SLAMMING AA.....IF IT WORKS FOR YOU GOD BLESS YOU ALL
So to answer your question Jeff....if you meet the RIGHT girl, and you are honest with her about your past and your struggles and your hope for the future, and if that girl has a good head on her shoulders.....WHY WAIT???????
Life is short...too short.....but oh so sweet. Love is the best, you deserve to be loved, to be happy and to live a life free from labels and addiction fears. A life of truth and honesty and happiness abounding.

by the way...that guy that married the right woman right out of rehab????
hes my brother in law...never relapsed since..
