Hi John tina said if I put a post you will respond when you can so here goes it.I have found that like after 2-3 hr after I take the sub that I get fuzzy headed I want to say it feels like I'm gonna (nod)don't know if you understand that hope so.I get real like dopey feeling after I lay down for like 1 hr its better.Also I threw up yesterday after which I felt real good so I guess that means I should eat before I take my tabs.What sort of things did you feel body/mental when you first started the sub??????mj

Hi Molly, havent been near a computer till now. I felt like that when I first started so I lowered my dose and felt better. I found I probably felt best on 4mg then down to 2mg quick.
If you feel nauseous its probably too much. You can split the dose, morning and night but not too late because it can tend to give you too much energy and impair sleep.
I found it best one small dose in the morning kept me fine all day. It has a long half life so it tends to build up in your system, so yesterdays dose will be with you for a while on top of todays dose and so on.

John, I've got a question , does sub at anytime make youfeel high or doppy? Because one of my family members is on methodone and she seems to stay so high all the time. But i'am not downing methodone, so nobody take it the wrong way!
Abby, I either felt normal at the right dose or sick at too high a dose. Thats how I knew if I was at too high a dose, Id get nauseous and felt awful and would have to lay down.
It seemed impossible for me to high off of it, not that I was trying. It did give me energy, I noticed a drop off in energy when I weaned off.

You will either be normal or nauseous, just remember start low and work up slowly over time to find your optimal dose. You can always take more but not less.

I'll say this, I don't know a hole lot about either one of those drugs but what I've read. But, I was given a few methadone pills once when I was out of what I had,
And I got high, Not only did I like it but I got off for three days on just a few pills.
I'm sure if taken correctly, for the proper reasons, at the right dose, that doesn't happen, but, yes you can get high off of Methadone. As far as the Sub. I don't know, I heard you can, but only was told that, I don't have personal experience with that.

From all the horror stories I have read on here about methadone and how much harder it is to get off of than the pills in the first place.......I would ask you to please stay away from it. I know you have a plan all set, be patient......Everything will work out. I don't want to see you get on a train thats hard to get off of.

yes. I am okay I feel pretty bad. I have a head cold and the Detox Dr had me
on to much Clonidine so my blood pressure was really low. I talked to him today
and he told me to go to a lower dose.

Hey guys I desided to sign on for a bit,thanks John for your reply I'm on 8mg but today I only have done 6mg.I really don't get ANY energy from them at all.Belive me I miss that.I don't remember who brought up methodone but some years back 5-6yrs I use to buy that off the street & that got me so high.I know I was lucky the girl selling it got busted cause yes I loved the feeling.But I do know how dangerous something like that can be for me.As far as my energy.....Gosh do I miss that.......mj
