Thanks so much, I took 14 mgs total for the day and that should be what I take tomorrow because I feel great, again I just cant believe it, I am even tired, thank god! I do have a question, how does this work I take all my dose at once tomorrow does it really last all through the day, I needed more and more Vicodin because it did not last. Will this keep me even all day? Do you take your whole dose at once, my doc said I can take it throughout the day or all at once. What has worked for you, can you also share more on your telling me not to take more than I need (I am not going to because I feel great at the 14 mgs.) I mean really great, but I just wanted to understand your thinking. Anything else you can share about your first few days on Sub. Everyones different on dosage, it has a long half life (36 hours) so once a day works great but some people find it better to split into twice a day, when you get up and at 5pm.
The reason you dont want to take anymore because its antagonist properties kick in at a higher dose, as long as all your mu receptors are satisfied you'll feel great, more and you''ll feel nauseous, headache maybe dizzy.
It builds up in your system due to its long half life so as time goes on you'll need less and less also your mu receptors will decrease and less sub will be needed to fill the mu receptors. So whats a good dose now will be too much in the future.
Vicodin has a short half life, thast why you needed it more times throughout the day, not the case with sub.

I had played around with the Methadone Tabs, trying to detox myself before, got a little carried away with them,,didn't realize that the w/d from that was worse than the Vicoden..
I don't know if the Sub is anything like Methadone, but trust me, You want to just take the perscribed dose, else you will find yourself in even deeper...Okay?
