Jim -- what can I say that hasn't already been said....your honesty and courage, not giving up, humility, willingness to honestly share your experience with others here, even when feeling your lowest.....you're a true power of example and have helped me a lot. I'll bet I'm not alone. Congratulations on 30 days! -- I know those were tough ones. M.
Hey Jim,

Thanks Kerry and everyone else for your support and kindness! This forum is a tremendous resource to me and I can't tell everyone how much it means to me!

My recovery continues to be a day to day journey. There've been lots of emotional ups and downs at home these past few weeks... anger, sadness, depression, hope, etc. Most of the time I'm okay with where I'm at because I do have hope. It is my choice how I look at things afterall, in spite of the "guilt" I still feel from time-to-time. And I'm learning that the only feelings I can control are my own.

Also I'm learning a lot in IOP and with my counselor. So time is the key right now. I need to be patient, which isn't always easy.

All the best to everyone!
Jim

PS - I have to keep my time on the internet at home to a minimum since it was my means for getting pills, and don't want to stress out my wife any more than I've already done to this point.
Hey JR:

It's good to see recovery . Congratulations you always have a great message.
