Besides a health issue and the mental problems, getting clean is like a huge savings account, interest rates are very good! Today after reading a post here, I thought about how many days it's been and how many pills I would have taken. I think I'm 44 days clean @ 10 pills a day @ $7 each, well, any math people there.
Just feels much better!
Last night I didn't take the Clonipine just to see what happens and I slept fine, think it maybe time just to go normally!

so very true, i now have extra money to spend on items that never seemed important while using, i fooled myself back then,trying to convince myself that i was not spending as much on pills as i really was. it is great not having to lie about where the money went anymore.

It does feel a lot better, especially the guilt that comes with it. I just feel normal now, I remember praying for this feeling, it took about 5-6 weeks but I think it's finally here. I do feel a little anxiety when I get upset (things happen at work) but it passes. I'm so glad that I haven't really screwed up my body with the pills, it's such a relief. I remember a few weeks ago thinking that I would never ever feel the way I used to and that was scary.
It's just great to be a normal person living a normal life. I remember when I quit, my thoughts were to have a normal summer and now I can.

I'm now in the process of trying to find my wife a new 4 horse trailer with living quarters (in case I go on any of the trips) They are really expensive, but saving abount $2800 per month, I think we can afford it. :)
It's bad to think, but I think it's the BEST part of not using, coming from a real tight wad! I can remember getting low on pills and would have probably paid any price to get them, SICK! Now it's all about gasoline, Gosh, I hate those prices, but $2.00 per gallon, hey, I was paying $70 a day for pills, go figure!

Funny if you think about it isn't it? We fuss about gas prices but paid a fortune for pills (considered it a necessity, lol). Actually I fussed about pill prices too, and like complaining about gas, it did me no good. lol
