Kat,gina, Girls? Anyone Around?

Hiya Beck!

I think I'm just going to lounge about the house today. Its cold outside again, and I just don't feel like going anywhere. I have quite a few games to keep me occupied.

I'm glad your kitty came back. Are you off today?

Michelle
Hiya right back. Yes, I have Fridays off. I work 4 10's. One of the reasons I stay a couple of nights there as the drive is over 2 hours. I worked 3 10's for years when I was married. I loved that!

Gina, my dog is disgusting too. I refuse to have anyone over until I've either had her groomed or do it myself. She needs a haircut in the worst way, but it's still pretty cold. I leave her out during the day if no one is home.

It's so nice to catch you guys this morning!

xxoo, Beck
LOL Beck!

I had a border collie cross, that had the most shaggiest hair of any dog I have ever seen. One day I brought a pair of clippers home from work, and shaved her down. It was really bad, I forget to remove the surgical blades, and it shaved her down to her bare skin. She woulnd't look at me for a month, and the few times she did, I swear I saw bared teeth. LOL

Michelle
LMAO. Good thing you didn't take any skin. My ex boss used to shave her cats. If someone would have tried to shave Miles, they'd have lost their life.

Choo is a Pekinese (sp) and her hair just grows and grows. I have her shaved pretty close when it warms up. She just stole a Jr. Mint off of me and is guarding it like it's gold. She won't eat it, but I'm not geting it back, lol

LMAO!

After I bathe Pippin's cat, he will follow me around for days just so he can turn his back on me.

Beck, It was warm enough to wash all the animals outside yesterday and of course I didn't do it. I think it's too cold today. The last time I tried to bathe Zoe in the shower stall, she shook herself and there was doghair on the ceiling. Next dog I get will be a Mexican hairless.

LMAO Gina

My dog always did that. She would wait until she was completely lathered up with soap, and then shake it all off. I would be cleaning dog hair and bubbles off the walls for hours.

I would like to get another dog, but I dont think Matt will go for it. I thought about a lab, but with the pool and the pond, I just don't see that working out. LOL I really want a bloodhound. A big old slobbery dog. LOL

Michelle
The hairless animal is a very good idea. Both of my animals shed all year long. White hair. And without even thinking, I just bought a mainly black rug for the living room, under the table. It looks good for a day or two, then there are literally rolls of hair. I have to do it on hands and knees every week to get it all.

I can throw Choo in the tub and she really behaves; even likes it. It just kills my back. But I think I'll do it. Then I can wait to have her shaved until it's warmer.
Michelle, the couple who lived down the street from us in Evanston bred bloodhounds. They were the most beautiful shade of mahogany. I'd love to have one, because they are so gentle and intelligent, but I can't take the drool.

Beck, Peke's are great little dogs -- intelligent and fearless. The Chinese breed excellent dogs. It's a pity they don't put as much effort into other areas.
Gina

I think after the last dog I had, the drool won't bother me. This dog was a law suit waiting to happen. Max was a austrailian shepard/Akita cross, and the dog wanted to either herd everything, or kill it. I have a fenced in yard, but as soon as you let him out he would try and jump the fence, and then run wild all over the neighbor hood trying to kill other dogs and cats. It got to the point I had to put him on one of those wire leads whenever I let him outside, and that bothered me. I have a friend who lives in PA that has about 10 acres, so she took him, and last I heard he is still trying to kill and herd things. LOL

Its a shame really, he was a very smart dog, and absolutely beautiful. He looked just like a dingo.

Michelle
Michelle, I love both Akitas and dingos (though I don't admit that to my friends in Oz). When I lived in Phila., a guy I met had a 9 month-old Akita. Somebody tried to break into his apartment. The dog grabbed the burgler's arm and held him on the fire escape until the cops showed 45 minutes later. He didn't even puncture the man's jacket.
I see Miss Kat online. I should hit the treadmill! We all should. Why should I suffer alone!
Well Beck, the MFC treadmill is not working this morning to well. Gina has already fallen off twice in less than a minute. I give up. LOL
Beck, Michelle, I have been thrown off the damn treadmill three times this morning and to quote DeNae, it is chapping my a** Can't we do something about this?
LMFAO, this is completely INSANE!
Just saying Goodmorning & letting you girls know your making me giggle...Thank You
molly.....MEOW
Good morning Molly!

Gina, it won't let me make a room. Everytime I hit the conference button it freezes and tells me I can't make a voice chat. WTF!!!!!!

Beck and I were wondering what happened to you two. I keep getting these chat invitations from Michelle. I go inside and no one is there, lol.
FY FY FY

Hey Molly,

I'm sorry you can't volunteer anymore. Be proud of all those you helped. I lost one of mine a couple of months ago and it's hard. Both my cats were homeless and it ws a blessing for us to take them in! Did I see you had applied for a job? Is it with animals?

Kat, Sorry!!! My computer locked up. You still around?

How about Lisa. Are you awake yet?
