I would just like to tell you what a great friend you are. You are such a wonderful, caring, compassionate person. Just a loving soul and I am so proud of you. Your recovery has been so trying but you stick in there, no matter what and you are always a beckon of light to others. There is not a mean bone in your body. Hey Kat and Sharon,

I think you're both awesome and glad to have you both as my friends. Hope you two are doing well. Sharon, I haven't talked to you in awhile, how are you doing? Hey, my new email address is now Liz04here@yahoo.com. I don't have aol anymore. They never closed my account but I got rid of them so I can have more room on my computer and it wouldn't run so slow. It worked too. Just to let you both know I'm actually feeling so much better tonight. I will be in a rehab. Hopefully in a week or two. We'll see, but I will get clean. Tired of the life I keep living and I know it can be better. Ok, well, you two probably aren't up this late but I'll talk with you soon.

Its so good to hear from you. You sound so positive tonite and that makes me happy. I am doing good. Kat and I stay up late chatting. We miss talking to you. Hope your husband is still doing better. Life will get better Liz, I just know it. Hang in there gf, and know that you are loved.

Liz, I'm so glad you're feeling better. I've really worried over you. You have certainly had it hard. Please know how special we all think you are, it may be little comfort, but it's true.

Teresa, I've sure missed you too!! I got back on the old computer so I can get back into chat now. Let's do that soon and catch up!! I also just wanted to compliment you on a fine post. I read what you wrote to Tina and I really got alot out of it. It made me think and think hard. I was very impressed. You have this knack of getting deep into the addict mind and their behavior. (I still say you would make a fine counselor). I didn't want to say this on Tina's thread and take the focus off her situation so I put it here. I've always said your input here on this board is amazingly valuable, you reminded me of that tonight reading what you wrote. I hope life is treating you well. I look forward to talking to you soon!! Hi to you too Jacky! I had this unreal case of strep throat that had me incapacitated for two weeks. It's kind of hard to catch up on the board when you've been away from it. I went though two rounds of antibiotics before I started to get better. I had strep when I was young but it was nothing like this. I was so weak and sick just going to the bathroom was exhausting. You were a great help and inspiration to me too in getting clean. You were always so positive and caring. I am honored to consider you a freind. You've really been a huge asset to this board and I would bet many have been inspiried by you as I have. I hope you're feeling much better now. Take care, Love, Kat

thank for the kind words.. I need them more than you know.. I dont say a lot about my crap and you know that but life isnt treating me soo well but that is life right?... so your words have come at a good time so as the ole aqua velva commercial used to go 'thanks I needed that'...lol...

it will get better they say... wait i am using the 'they' saying that ,...right?... lol.. anyhoo I am glad you are feeling better ... and hope to talk to you soon...

Hi, how are you today? Hope things are looking up. We have settled into the new place and almost have our other home ready to sell. Now it looks like we will be moving again soon, lol. My husband was recruited for another job, one that he just can't turn down, it is in another part of the state. At least I haven't unpacked everything. I am the moving queen I think, lol. Anyway, so glad that we are friends, be sure to IM us when you see me and Kat online.

Sharron its so good to see you posting, so many people need you here us (oldies) have a lot to offer. Ive been fasanated and inspired by the way in which people change, its a bit like buterflys coming from pupa type thing lol. Friendship is so envaluable especially to us recovery addicts. I would love it if the dare i say it lol posseeeeeee came back on a more regular basis sharing your thoughts, each and every one of you have helped me grow. you take care and know your needed hun jackie xxxxxxx
