How did your last day of class go? Are you done now? You're so lucky, I have a long ways to go with school and I'm so struggling this week in getting my assignments done. There is no reason you couldn't go to school. It's great how you can go to college online now and whatever college you decide to go to, and there are so many, they walk you through every step you need to take to get going. It's real simple, give it a try.

Yea, I agree with Liz, Molly. It is so easy now. One of my classes was all on cable; or you can do it online. They make it so easy now! You can start with one class, something you like, just to get you back in. I have gotten so much out of it!
Liz, I am done until the 10th of Jan. I am so glad; I needed a break. I got an A on my Anatomy and Phys....WHOOOO HOOOO!!!!!!! The microbiology grade is supposed to be up, but it isn't, and that is the one I am worried about. I don't want to redo that class; I needed a B to not have to do that. So, I was just borderline...it is a lab class with 4 hours a week of labs, so I DON'T want to redo that.
After that, I have to do the math and english placement test, then I just have the other half of ant and phys to go, and hopefully by next fall, I will be in the nursing program!!
Keep going; I soooooo hear you on the procrastination. I am so good in the beginning of the semester, but I always slack at the end...it is a bad bad habit.

And MJ, there is no reason why you can't go find a few fun courses to take. I promise, you will love it!

My husband has been home now for almost 2 months now. We have talked about divorcing and both of us believe it's the best thing to do. We should never had married in the first place, but we are still going to be friends. He wants so much to stay in my kids lives and I think that is only fair. He has been helping to raise them since my son was 3 years old and he's now 12 in Feb. and my daughter was 11 years old and she is now 19 years old.
He's been real good to them and they love him like a Dad.
Anyway, yes, microsoft word pisses me off too with that automatic capatalizing and this margin crap that I still can't get. I'm meeting with the instructor this afternoon to discuss this. I don't want my grade to drop over this. I have a 97 now and this one assignment is going to drop my grade. Hopefully she will have a heart being it's Christmas and give me a chance to figure out this program.

She went back to study Medical Transcription, after staying home for many many years.......
She worked for a large hospital in Terre Haute Indiana, for 11 years...........and has since found a great job working from home, she can work in her jammies.............She transcribes for a a hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.........and does it all online.............
It can be done...............I need to get my butt back in school as well

Awesome MJ, Keep looking, you will find something. Animal specialist would be so great for you. Another great thing about online universities is you can go to school at your own convience and anytime of day. It's open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. You will enjoy it. Good Luck.

I'll add to Java's comment..my Mom went back to school at 40..after 20 years of alcoholism and got her Masters in Sociology and went on and taught college for 20 years..believe me, she was bad between the ages of 20-40..like 15 times in rehab..so it can be done.

Ya, she was pretty proud. She had 2 years of college under her belt when she quit school because of kids/husband..remember, that was the late '50s..so it was normal then..and my parents broke up when I was young and she never went back and drank and drank..and drank some more..I mean, it was horrible..we had absolutely -$0 dollars in the house when we were kids..nothing..and 5 kids...but during her last rehab stint, her sponser talked her into it, she applied and off she went..she was going the same time I was..hehe.."Hey Mom, want to go to a Frat party?"...so ended up teaching, won a bunch of teaching awards, became tenured and retired with a nice pension..she's gone now for a couple of years but she was extremely happy and proud.
