Easy Bake Oven which was a lightbulb burning hot that baked the crap that came with it. Pre-Polly Pocket. We had Liddle Kiddles, O.K.?
Big Wheels, man how many boys like rode that thing from 7:00AM in the summer to 9:00PM. Rendering the plastic wheels to nothing so ya had to put a piece of cardboard in the wheel which made ya spin-out better.

My parents spent 100 bucks a kid for christmas and we got so much stuff.(Board games, sporting equip,. etc...)
There wasnt any videio stuff ->& clothes werent 80 a pr. for jeans..
Now Im thinking of offering my kid ,his cell phone bill paid for a Christmas present- - what the hell, thats 100 bucks!
Its tough ,but Im I getting more into the spirit more everyday

We begged for that SUPER STUFF......my Ma said it was like huffing glue, and would cause us to go to the ER.....we lived in the ER.....how's about Rock Em Sock Em Robots? My brother hd that, and STRETCH ARMSTRONG.....what he didn't do to that thing, and he stretched so much, and someone would get hit in the eye with him, and BONK......black eye.
I enjoyed the dolls myself, but Babby Go Bye Bye my brother BEGGED me to get her, and I was a tad old, but i asked for her.......well he had big plans for her which included smashing her bumpity buggy into various things.
Those were toys, and Jack is correct....these cell phone bills and especially the text messaging are crazy......these kids with computers, and IMing, and cell phone texting.....they don't have to interact with others.....plus the earphones of the iPod capture them.
Oh, dungarees, Jack.......yeah, I had the best......hipsters which meant low cut, and then a belly top.......funky fur jackets, and all.....loved it.....good times.

All I can do with a cell phone is call a saved number- - & answer it when it rings.

Texting is an addiction if ya ask my brother.....he didn't know what it was and wondered what them kids were doing next to him in the car....he thought they had games on there......LOL......my one nephew with the $400.00 bill sent my bro through the stratosphere......they're all gonna have carpel tunnel and eye problems cause they're like demons.
Jack, I'm with you........I confiscated my kids, and was clueless.....I now own the thing, and am just now able to spy out who wrote what and when.....we're from a different time, man........we TALKED to people.....they write.....even on a phone.......my youngest nephew got a razor phone.....it's futuristic...ya just talk to it and it dials and stuff......real GEORGE JETSON like.....just great.
O.K. let's see of course the LITTLE GREEN ARMY MEN.....I watched in horror as my brother tied them to roller skates.....recall they like had a key them skates and you could make them fit your foot......he blew them up......this is a kid put the marbel from inside a whistle up his nose though.....LOL....my poor mommy........then those RICOCHETTE RACERS I think......you like catapulted the cars.......that was catapulting more than cars.

MYSTERY DATE.......it had a little door and behind the door was all kinds of guys.........if ya got THE DUD who had horn rimmed glasses and stuff.......you lost the game.......the STUD was all Izod and stuff......I wanted a dang tattoed one in there with long hair darn it....PC game I guess and oddly there was no service men.........plain wrong.
O.K. one more........this record player.....I think it was red and ya closed it and could carry it around.......Close and Play maybe it was called.
My bro waited in line from 2:00AM for one of these new video games WII or WEE or something like that.......he could have scored vouchers for that stinking Elmo too, and sold the jawn for like $500.00 but he's too nice a cat my brother, but still loves his toys.......how about that red thing had slides in it and ya clicked from picture to picture?
All I know is BIG WHEEL rocked our little block of Phillydome, and them boys rode all day long on plastic wheels........spinning out into traffic.....that's about when my mom said "I don't care what he does. He gave me a tumor and a nervous breakdown".......funny my other bro was reading and in clubs and all.

Davey, did you guys have Teddy Ruxpin like 20 years ago......he was like a talking animated bear........that was the big deal here........also PEE WEE'S Playhouse that thing was awesome.......the video's and the toys.....loved playing with them with the kids.
Jog that memory........GI JOe and Major Matt Mason........yeah, my brother still sets them up........he got Panzer tanks for the german guys and GI Joe whips their butt I guess in his big kid mind.

Bryn ..my friend oh!!..indeed we had Teddy Ruxpin..well i didnt but boys called Rupert&Timothy..l.o.l..did but he was a cute lil guy.Little Green SoldeirsVThe blue/grey of the Wermacht..i was your brother in that respect...i used to start lil fires and wacth the Nazi hordes melt..with maybe an American Bazooka man thrown in for historic reality.I got a Ken for my daughter last year&the only one i could find was one in beach shorts&flip flops...so he did start some cross dressing...with the resident Barbies..so he does their hair now&has become a eunich...the girls are pissed..but can relate.
