I've never gotten into this type of thing,nor even considered it. check out any of my posts & u will see, but i gotta ask something. Where are you coming from? Is it your intent to cause harm to people? Have you ever said anything positive?
I know you think (or at least u say u are) providing 'honest, tough love type advice.'
But its not the case, especially when you dont read what the person says & then nastily respond to something they didn't do. (even if they did, most of the time ur response is not called for)
Do you really honestly think u are helping anyone, including yourself, by being so nasty. For someone who prides themselves on being so blunt and straight forward I will be blunt with you. Do you have any friends? Do you have anyone you can talk to that will be honest with you? Do most people tend to not like you?
Look in your heart, do you really believe you are doing the right thing. It is great that you have not used in 226 days or whatever & being clean & sober is a good thing, but not in and of itself. There is more to life then being clean. You know a lot of hate groups, like the nazi party are against drug use (or at least they pretend to be.) But an awful lot of nasty people have quit drugs or are against drugs- that is not the all in all & does not make you a good person or even a smart person or a person with judgement.
If you associate with any decent people, who are not self righteous (which, just to let u know, being self righteous is an indication that someone is not a decent person), and who demonstrate intelligence & discernment & have a knowledge of drugs & recovery: If you know of such a person, perhaps you might ask them about yourself. I am assuming in 'real life' you act like you do on this board. Ask them how others perceive you & the damage you do to other people under the guise of trying to be helpful. You might also ask them why people tend not to like you. By the way, I really am saying these things so you get some help. You say you hate lies, well then have the guts to believe what i am saying, take a look in yourself, ask, pray, and have the guts and strength to change & learn to love and care about people. You really are hurting yourself & others. There is no way around that.

So I'll work on sugar-coating less and perhaps you could think about exercising a little tact or compassion.

Oh G If I could live on the river I would.Ive always been such a tomboy.When I met my BF he was like a mountain man all fishing & hunting.I use to love to taget practice but I could never bring myself to hunt.But fishing I never realized just how mush fun it is to fight a fish until the day came that I hooked this HUGE catfish.When I say I had to fight him it took me a good 7 minutes to get him in.I was hooked (no pun intended)It may be THE only thing that I will get out of bed at 4 am....mj
