Sharon,, Congratulations on your new Grandchild.. A Boy right??? What did they name him... I know you are so excited.. You are so blessed.. I dont know about you but, I can have the worst day of my life and all I have to do is look at one of my grandchildren or hear one of thier voices or just think about them and all the bad ..goes away.. They are truley a blessing.. How is the Mother and Dad holding up?....

You don't know what that means to me Paula..when I was using, no one who would have known, would have wanted for me to even hold their babies...nice to know that kids are really safe with me now.
Sharon's daughter in law had a baby boy named Robert Jackson. He has 6lbs, 15oz, 19 inches and born a little after 8 this morning. She said he looks just like her son Robbie.
She won't be around for awhile, she's going to see her sis either tomorrow night or Sat morning.
Everyone, please keep her in your thoughts.

I am truly happy for you and little one, happy for the whole family.
I think babies always change people/families for the better.All of my siblings have 1 or 2 grandchildren escept me, I'm teh youngest - and my son (31) and daughter-in-law (28) are now talking about it. I am excited just to hear that. I know it took 10 years off my siblings' lives, they just turn into these happy energetic people when those little ones walk in their door. Don'e even groan when they get up of the floor - haha
I know I could sit and watch my 3 sons the first 3-4 years of their lives, they are so cute, always doing s'thing different just all of their facial expressions I didn't want to miss.
I cannot even imagine when I'm a Grandmother or Mimi as I would love to be called. I made the mistake of saying anything except "Granny" My son heard that but I will answer to anything, just get me one.
I love the cooing stage.
