L-tyrosine Problem

Hi there,

Have been trying the amino acids for withdrawal and was amazed at the results..
HOWEVER one of them seems to give me some kind of adrenaline rush in my head...almost like an anxiety attack for about an hour after taking it...its the L-tyrosine.....anyone else have aproblem with this one? Took just the recommended one pill....Must be doing something with those extra gateways in my brain??? Tim???/ Bikeman?? Anyone???

Hugs,
Ali
Ali, if it isn't a good thing...you might want to lower your dose. how many mgs are you on?
Hi Wiverson!!!!!,

thankyou for replying, I have the 500mg capsules....not sure if they come in less..

hugs,
Ali
Hi there! Are you just taking one/?
sorry, forgot to say that I was taking just the ONE 500mg a day. On day 3 i stopped it and continued with the remaining aminos and vit C and B12 and that bad adrenalin symptoms stopped.....
I think they sell them in 1,000 mgs. can you try to take three? Morning noon and late afternoon?
maybe it was 100 mgms...what is the brand name?

I took them but if you take too many ltaurine your blood pressure goes whacky.

They helped a little with me but not Super energy.
Hi again...

It says pharmaceutical grade and it is by a company called NOW...a bog orange bottle..im in canada so may not have same brands here....Have you ever hear about that symptom??

I didnt relate it to the L-Tyrosine at first..took a nap about 6 hours after taking and woke up to this really intense tremor..it actually woke me up....not my whole body but just sorta my heart and my brain...weirdest thing Ive ever felt...when i sat up and did some deep breathing it went away....same for day two but in the morning, on day three I thought real hard about what was different and realized that L-Tyrosine was the newest of the aminos ( had ordered it in and started with the others first...) stopped it and that symptom stopped...

Will check with homeopath and see if it comes in smaller dose....

Thanks for responding to my posts Wiverson...love reading your posts to everyone....

Hugs,
Ali
