Last Friday

Stacey celebrated 6 months of continuous sobriety. Yay, Stacey!!!!!!

Big smooches
Which Stacey?
24 Gordon. (sorry)
Thank you Kat...
Since I was on vacation Friday, I was able to go to two meetings & celebrate plus hang out with my new sponsor & another great friend I made in the program...f2f support has been the difference this time and as long as I put my sobriety first, anything in this life is possible...

Before my morning meeting Friday, I pulled out the e-mail where I finally surrendered & asked for help from Teresa and it was so good to see where I was and how far I have come...At the 6 month mark though I want to work harder on my recovery hence the new sponsor and getting into the steps...I've been asked to come and learn about H & I which I plan on doing soon....Thank you for being there especially when the difficult situations arise and thank you for always sharing yourself....You are an awesome woman and a great sponsor....

xoxo

Fantastic....I love to hear these things!!!

Stacey, congratulations! You are one who came here, learned about the program, went once and kept going back, and now are a true inspiration to many. Keep it up!

PS.......I have wanted to ask you this for some time, and since I know you'll be reading this thread, it's a good place to do it. I read once where you wrote that you a BMX Mom. I used to be, too! My son has quit racing now, but there was a time when we were at the track daily. My husband and I were on the board and helped run the local ABA track. God! We loved it and miss it SO much!
If you don't mind, tell me about your BMXer. How old? ABA or NBA? etc.
From one BMX mom to another, you probably "get" why we were so in love with the sport and the people.
Stacey-

Congrats on the clean time, That is amazing..........

Names can be the same, people can be so different, but all is UNIVERSAL
when it comes to the struggle of all struggles---Drug-Free. clean & sober----
everyone is to be praised and commended for their hard and never ending work
for its the journey of ones life-time---to remain just that--clean and sober.
People need People~~~ Tye.
In my opinion, 6 months is the best milestone. You're way past wd's and to the point that you know you can quit forever. When you look back and it seems like a lifetime ago.

Congrats Stacey.

Take care
