i am doing a research project on what affects a persons surroundings has on how they recover from an addiction. i would like to hear from anyone who has something to say about the subject.
If you are around the same people, in the same places, have the same routines, and see people doing the same things that you used to do, it is going to be much harder to keep from falling back into the same pattern yourself. Also if you don't have someone or something to be accountable to (another person, faith, etc.) it is easy to give yourself too much slack. That is what I have experienced anyway.
