Alrite all.....today i went to my methadone clinic in Dublin and was told that a friend of mine was shot on Sat.night.....he was only 23yrs.but his family were all involved in dealing.....his Father was one of the first to introduce gear in a big way in Dublin in the early 80s.....so Hana(nickname)didnt have much choice but to go in his relations direction,but he only dealt hash albeit in large amounts,the reason he was murdered was last week the cops kicked in his door.and when asked were the coke was(his bros coke)he just pointed vaguely to a spot in the kitchen,knowing the poolice would find it easy enuff....so in the eyes of his bros dealers...who are multi kilo guys....Hana had grassed them up by pointing in a very general place.....they lost 2.5 kilos,so someone had to be made an example off.....so R.I.P Hana.
Also had a cuppa coffee with another pal.....who is afraid of his life,coz his dealer sold bags to him...i.e theres 30deals sell 25 keep 5 which is a pretty mean deal ,but his dealer has 7/8 folks working for him.....making thousands every day,some gear went missing or the money wasnt right.......so they blamed my mate Martin....who is scare s***less,coz these guys dont f*** about,so hes permanatly lookin over his shoulder.......just a slice of the Irish drug world,the bit most folks dont see......Take care all and i hope Martin doesnt end up on the floor with a few rounds in him like Hana.Life truely is cheap when ya got coke sniffing ,paranoid lunatics who are armed with pistols(glock 9mm)and dont give a toss about humanity or anything close to it.So since last Summer ive seen 4 folks that i knew shot dead.....also to end on an even more depressing issue ......Hanas bro aged 16yrs. hung himself after hearing his bro getting whacked.......dark days and dark nights.Take care everyone
Too sad, Davey...but the value of life has declined since every knucklehead and his brother can get a gun...especially here in the US. I'll not tread that road, too political, but every one of my students has direct experience with guns and it makes me sad. Two weeks ago a crazy man killed two people only three blocks from my school and only six doors from my old school...and these little ones live this every day. More crackhouses everywhere due to foreclosures and empty buildings and not enough cops to go around.

Davey - i don't know what it is mate? whether it's just winter or what? but, you know once a week i work with a group of substance abusers i have/had 23 in my group but 9 fab people have lost their lives since 1st august we are now 23 - 9 and there have been 9 very sad funerals. it's got me so bad i don't even know if i can run this project anymore - seems more scary and sad than usual.

..Sorry to read this about your pal..life can be cheap indeed in those situations..its a dangerous game serving up big amounts as you know with severe consequences for those involved in it when things don't go to plan..and the dealers who lose out won't blink an eye when pointing a gun at sumone or getting sumone else to point the gun with the intentions of taking sumones life..tis a sad situation..hope your ok in yaself mate..Robbie..

Thanks all....Robbie yer right....the big boys with the artillary....dont think twice bout getting rid of someone...sometimes on pure hearsay.As i said on my earlier post i went for a cuppa with an old mate....Martin....and after telling me about the hassle he is getting off his former dealer....he was a bit jittery,so i said Martin talk to me bout things mate,well i wasnt prepared for the tale of woe he gave me......on the gear at 11yrs.of age.yep 11......forced to lure gay men down an alley then his bro and a pal would run down and mug the man.....then when that crime was rumbled.....his own f***ing brother put him on the game as a rent boy at the age of 14.......unbelievable....gotta go Sians here..............Davey

Davey m8,so f***in sorry.Best of it is u r spot on bout the skitso coke takin f***,s.They would most probably have found the coke anyway,especially when the wee spaniel or whatever is lookin for his treat.No way would they have done it themselve,s but would get some rocket who was probably in debt to them to pop him.bcoz of my own past i know how f***ed up their heads can be and chance,s r they maybe still owed for what was found and had to make example of your poor m8 to show those higher up the chain that it wasnt their fault for the loss.etc.maybe-not,only they will know,just u be careful matey.it,s amazing how these unbreakable friendship,s go up in the air when it all goes tits up and their only loyalty is too themselves..Ipersonally could not judas myself but it never fail,s to amaze me when someone get,s it that it,s been from pretty close-by..and your mate hanging himself..i can understand that,i really can..seems there are some pretty bad people near hand mate so as i,ve said u take care...your proddy mucker...Eck......
Thanks..Susan,Robbie ,Jaz &Eck......it really is a sad reflection of society,these guys i talked about are from the North Inner city of Dublin,place called Sherriff st.as nasty a place it eqauls the worst U.K highrise,or project in the U.S.....up to 20% of the male pop.are heroin addicts and theres 60%unemployment.The cops either have to get into it by plainclothes method,min.2 cars or bring a load of uniforms coz they will no doubt get rocks thrown at them or the odd petrol bomb.So these folks have no chance in life.....its kinda like Black sections of the U.S because its left up to the women to hold a family together.Im pretty removed from that scene as i live 30miles away,but its just round the corner from this area that my methadone clinic is,hence the few mates i have from that area,but rule number one look out for no.1.....so i aint getting into someone elses bizness....if ya wanna stay outta it ...listen but dont talk too much......sorry for the ramble but its really depressing how drugs take over..............Davey
