Hey Everyone, I just wanted to share that after 28 years of drinking and using I just passed the 19 month mark of not having alcohol or cocaine in my system. I am feeling great. Ya see, I tried everything for over 20 years (and I mean everything) and couldn't get sober or clean. Now, that I am working the 12 step program of recovery I have found a new found freedom and unbelievable release from the bondage of fear and anxiety. I was on all kinds of prescribed meds too ~ don't need those anymore...in a previous post I mentioned how I was dry for a couple of weeks - now in working my program I've once more attained serenity and gratitude...I am so thankful that there is another way of life, so thankful that this Program works (if you work it). I should be dead...but life is truly amazing and I'm glad I have regained sight of that! Peace & Serenity, VWGirl

Hi Sober & Ginge, Just got back from Palm Springs ~ with 4 other sober women. Found some great meetings. Now back in the little South Bay of SoCal...took an extra day off today from work and plan to go to a Women's stag in a bit. Peace & Serenity, VWGirl
