Lisa

Hey Lisa, how has your day been. Sorry I haven't been around lately but I did send you some pictures via email. Please check your email, you'll get a good laugh out of the Halloween pics. I only posted a few on the board and thought that you would like to see the others. Take Care and I will talk to you soon.
Hey Pam...I haven't checked that account today..been a little afraid too..lol

I'll look at it now.

My day was good. Spent way too much at Costco, should know better than to take the husband when he's hungry. I went to a sunrise meeting this morning, so all is well with my world. Did you lay around all day?

my two favorite girls in one thread....well how bout that?

i'm missing y'all

sitting here grumpy cause for the second week in a row i have to miss desperate housewives...to watch a sappy western....ewwwww!!!

i was hoping my bro-in-law would be too tired out this week....geez, i'm going back to work just to get my own TV...lol
You didn't miss anything Janet...it was a re-run. Didn't the new season just start? I hate re-runs. Unless of course, I missed an episode and then the runs come in handy...
Wow...thank God it was a rerun. I went to bed at 8:00 last night! Can you believe that? This time change makes me so tired. So this is the first morning I haven't overslept for work in a few days!
yeah well, I caught the last 15 minutes of it...rerun or not, i would have preferred it to Louis L'amour...an old cheesy western....i can't get the harmonica or git fiddle out of my head this morning...."they got our womenfolk!"....gosh I really don't like westerns....give me a comedy any day of the week...
I love westerns..(duh). They remind me of a time when life would have been a whole lot simplier.

How are things this morning Jodi? I see you survived the weekend.
Hi Lisa. Yep...survived the weekend. I am probably one of the few people in the world who love Mondays. Except I am so beat up from work on Sunday, it takes me a whole day to recuperate. I swear my boss uses and abuses me. He knows how money-hungry I am. :)

Hey, thanks for being there on Friday. Even if it was only for a minute...it made me feel better and helped me to keep what sanity I have left.

Happy Halloween.
Anytime, Jodi. I'll always be here.

Progress doll, not perfection.

What kind of work do you do?

Cowgirl
I deliver newspapers. Not exactly an executive type career but I make better money at this than I did at my cushy office job. (I'm sorry...I always feel the need to defend my job.) I started this job after my last son was born 10 years ago so I wouldn't have to pay daycare and so I could be home to raise them. I always swore I would go back to a "real" job after they got in school. But I'm still there! I have quite a large route...500 on Sunday. Plus I sub extra routes all the time so yesterday I delivered almost 700! The main drawbacks are getting up 7 days a week at 3:00 AM and working 365 days a year. But it works for me...for now.

I would love to go back to school some day. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening anytime soon. It's a goal though.

BTW...I sent you an email this morning...just a quick one...but I am going to try to get another one out to you later. I've got something I wanted to talk to you about.
Why are you defending your job? I think it's great and the best part is you get to be with your kids. I used to have a salon in my home when they were little, so that I could be at home, then I went to work in the same school they went too. I didn't venture away from them until they were in HighSchool. They put their foots down. lol

Your job sounds way more demanding then anything I've ever done. Getting up at 3am? Not in this life time.

Well I defend it because my husband used to act embarassed that I was a "paper girl" when people would ask him where his wife works. I guess because it used to be considered a kid's job. The business has changed alot since then. He stopped acting embarassed when he realized I make much more money than he does! lol...and he doesn't complain when the Christmas tips start rolling in either.
Hey Lisa, Janet and Jodi and anyone esle that I may have missed. Yes, I did lay up all day Sunday and all Day Monday too. I've had a tummy ache and I got some medicine for an ulcer today. Finally, I got some much needed relief. Thanks for asking about me and Yes, I know that I am up really early. It is 3;34am here, but Hubby was snoring so loud that he woke me up so I came to check the computer and now I'm going back to bed. Also, Please vote for Tank everyone. Talk to all of you soon, hopefully. I'll probably sleep half of the day today since I'm up so early. Take Care.

NO do not vote for TANK.. VOTE Chewy also made it on there, but I haven't posted it on here after I saw the Kuma running away with it on the first day. LOL.. Kuma is above Chewy.
I am kidding and Pam knows it. The bottom line is .. in all good faith I had to vote for the cutest, and Kuma is clearly the cutest on there or is in my opinion, Chewy just looks like the mutt he is, my precious rescue, but Kuma did take a GREAT picture..... The first day I was like OH great,, chewy doesn't stand a chance in hell.. with ' puppy kuma on there' .. But the bottom line is our pets are beautiful to all of us. Wait until yall see Cooper.. now there is a sight. lol.
Pam I will vote for Tank tomorrow, Then Chewy, I have already voted once for Kuma once, so I am making it fair. Looks like the Corgi is running close behind. We had a corgi mix, and they are great lil dogs, mean as s***, but cute as buttons as puppies.
I don't know about you Pam, but they didn't give me much notice, I received an email on my comcast addy, saying Chewy is up. I was like ok,, I go there and Kuma already had like 30 votes. They had to have known before I did.
Hey Brookshire, I know what you mean about that email business. By the time I got over to the site and looked at it, Kuma was kicking butt. Oh well, he is a cutie pie. Talk to ya soon.
