So glad to read your post this am! I went to rehab out in northern Cal. It was really good for me. I couldn't stop the pills or drinking...I had to be in rehab to stop. The doc there was great. I was detoxed in a safe way. there was wonderful support there. I learned a lot about the disease and the tools to use when I got out of rehab. I was so sick and tired of being sick and tired.
I wish you all the best in your new journey and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Keep us posted.

Thank God you are able to get into a centre and you have a lvoing WIfe ready and willing to help. I am so happy to see the turn around even in just 24 hours.

See how things can look totally different within 24 hours?You sound like a new person.Coming off long term opiate addiction makes you litteraly insane.You can trust nothing your mind is telling you.Its message is real clear"You better get me some opiates or I will kill you"The body goes into shock.It will last 3-5 days and many peolpe have given you excellent suggestions.You have to listen to them because you will make no sense.
