Littlebeach & Kee Kee

I would like to talk to both of your via email, but don't have your addys. I'm emailing Carol and asking her to forward mine to you, Kerry. Or if anyone else that has mine can forward it to either of my 2 favorite Hawaiians, I would be grateful. Kee Kee, I don't know who has your's???

I have some Hawaii questions I would like to ask.

Thanks:)
Atlas,

Hope your feeling better this afternoon, had I had your email I would have written you also...

I love Hawaii....but my reasons from wanting to move from Calif. is the expense it costs to live here............Hawaii is alot more expensive then Calif......or so it seems every time I go over there..........but then again maybe becuz I buy to many things to bring home............LOL

I did eventually send you an email, did you get it? Save my address, or let me know and I will resend it. Thanks for thinking of me today, I really needed that, even though my email was short. I don't feel any better, worse in fact, but it's nice to know people care. Thanks.

Hey Sweetie, Sorry I missed your call, it was during school pickup and I had to run in and talk to the teachers for a minute, then I didn't see the message until much later. YGM.
OK...going to check it now and will email back.

Hey there, Atlas. Both Kee Kee and CArol have mine...I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Hi ladies:) I think I have them both now, but my hotmail server is down...grrrr I will email you both ASAP.
Okay. Are you coming to visit? The weather has been just beautiful.

Traci, it used to be cheaper here than there...but now it is the same. The food and gas have always been a bit higher, but now there is costco, etc.
Our housing market was a bargain about 5 years ago compared to yours; then all the cali people came and bought, and it is the same now.

I think it is a trade off...you buy less shoes here...and you spend less on entertainment, etc. The trade off is the tranquility and beauty. If you do come, YOU MUST VISIT ME and if I go home any time soon, I will look you up. When you said Venecia the other day, I got homesick. I went to Cali in Oct, and I did Tahoe, Carmel, Santa Cruz, Calistoga, and San Fran twice IN FOUR DAYS. See what happens when island people get a car and some space?? We did 1,600miles on the Rent A Car in four days...lol.
Hey ya'll...hate to thread butt....but Kerry...Calistoga and Santa Cruz are two of my favorite places...oooooooh, you just made me miss them so much....

I am not sure, but I think Santa Cruz might be the center of the universe!

I have never been to Hawaii...but my oldest friend lives in Alaska, and she goes there often during winter. I promise I am going to make that trip with her one day! There is an old coffee plantation in Kuai (spelling is wrong I am sure)...anyway, it is now a Buddhist monestary...they put out a cookbook...wonderful recipes, everything in the meal balanced for body/mind/spirit. I would love to visit there. I have written them for resources on where to buy things....(Hard to find Dal in rural north Louisiana...for most here, that is a toy for girls) hahahaha!

Anyway, they wrote me back with a list of places to order things. I bet it is beautiful there!

I always enjoy reading when you and Kee Kee describe the view!

Sarah

Hey ladies, LOL THumper! These are all some of my favorite ladies, too. Thanks for your post.

And as for everyone else, I hope you all can get together soon, even if only by email.
We all need each other here, and there is so much goodness and kindness in this group. I hope those of us who are hurting can reach out and find the support and help they need soon. :-)
Good morning girls,

Atlas, hun no I didn't get your email...now I am bummed it didn't come thru, try again, Krazishyone@aol.com...how is your day going today??? your in my thoughts..

LB.....

You went right past my little town and didn't stop to visit..I am right in the heart of the wine country....whawwwwwww LOL
I had to laugh at the shoe comment, darn girl all I wear here now is flip flops...I already feel like an island girl, I even have my Aloha pink flowers on my rear window....LOL yes I can dream!!! to all you others I really hope you all have a great day, I am praying I can make today better then my afternoon turned out..

Krazi/Traci
Krazi Traci,

My hotmail has been screwy. I received some blank emails yesterday. I think I am going to switch to yahoo today or soon. I'm not sure if I saved that email or not. It didn't come back. Hope I didn't type the wrong addy....LOL...someone may have gotten an earful. I hope you have a better day today. Thanks for allowing me to vent a little. It helped even though you didn't get it...LOL
OMG....I had just typed a whole bunch to you Atlas and my computer shut off.gee what makes that happen. Well if you decide you want to email later go ahead, I am going to stay home today amd do laundry.woo hoo want to help.

Here is a picture for you, Sarah. This is in Makena, and the island you see in the distance is Kohoolawe. It is the uninhatited island the Navy used to use for bombing practice.
Even after a 4 million dollar contracted clean up job, it is still unsafe to inhabit. It was supposed to be given back to the Native Hawaiians as a sort of restituion; I say give them land with water and power; like the other side of Maui....lol.
and the light in the distance is the sun gleaming though the rain. A good analogy for sobriety, don't ya think? "See the sun, even in the rain...."
"Gravitate towards the light...."
"Seek the light, even through the rainclouds...."
HA, I have become quite the philosopher. not....
Hey...big pout here...what about me!! wha wha wha.....

Just kidding....anyway I know your busy kerry and you will rock that final!

Atlas I would love to hear from you anytime!
