The implant is naltraxone and it last anywhere from 6-10 weeks and then I go get another put in. You can do this every two months for 1 year. I had this done (the final phase on thurs.) and I have no cravings for anything at all. (I was up to 45 pills of 10/650mg a day of hydrocodone). Now I'm only 35yr. old but, at that rate, I was going much further.
The only down fall to this procedure is for a week or so you go through waves of 15min. of awesome energy and then an 1hr or 2 of "did someone just slip me a mickey?" But to be taking that many pills a day and in 3 days nothing and have not one wd symptom, that my friend is someone looking out for me!!!!!

But, I am glad you are out of the addiction part.
The hard part is staying clean, and naltrexoneis a great way to do that. I'll bet, if I had taken the naltrexone the first time, I would have over a year.
