has anybody watched the concert 2-day.... best band 4 me was metallica and foo fighters.i'm not sure about the cause but as 4 music , quite good .
I saw bits of it. Snow Patrol were good, but very short set. And the BBC are crap at covering music events. The always stick Lauren Lavern or Edith Bowman in front of a mike and you have to listen to them drivelling on for hours, when I just want to hear the bands!

i don't mind edith but them 2 r always on ch.4 aswell. i didn't c snow-patrol . must have been whilst i was switchin with " t in the park "..........................................................................................................at the end madonna sang and made a little speach. she said something along the lines of" thank al gore for leading the way on initiating climate control "...........................as far as i knew they were one of the last 2 sign up l.o.l. as far as music goes the concert was ok though...

Ah, don't get me started with the old cigarettes. We've had a smoking ban in Wales for a while, and most of the pubs have little dens out back where you can smoke. Last Saturday, I was in llandeilo at the agricultural auction, and we went for a pint. It was pissing down with rain, and the only place to have a smoke was in this tiny little shed thing, with only 4 seats in it, and 3 of the 4 seats were taken up by non-smokers!! If the gov are gonna ban smoking in pubs, then they should ban non-smokers from smoking areas, so we don't have to stand in the b****** rain! I was all for a kangaroo court, and banishing the sneaky little non-smokers into the pub!

Ahh, the chemicals! They did a bangin' set at Glasto. Truely awesome. I'm off to Wickerman in Scotland later this month. The Orb, Eat Static, The fun lovin' crims, and the proclaimers (God love 'em!) are playing the main stage. I'm going to admit to looking forward to the proclaimers, in a macabre and ironic kind of way...

They're these Scottish brothers, twins I think, and they were geeky suits and big thick glasses. Now two decades after their chart success, they've developed a bit of a cult following. Now they're playing the festivals and stuff. Look 'em up on you tube. They're ace - how many obscure acts do people still know the words to 20 years later?
