I am a recovering heroin addict and am on naltrexone . It is working amazingly, it so strange to not crave the drug that completely controlled my being for so many years. This strange feeling I am talking about feels so good but now I am struggling with a new addiction; alcohol!!!! I have a very addictive personality and it always seems to to b something. I am really struggling to control this behaviour and so much want to live a happy life without addictions. I feel lost!!!!

You are so not alone. Many addicts are dual addicted and you are no different.
If I were in your shoes I would go to an AA meeting and get on the road towards recovery from alcohol. While your choice of killing your brain is different the effects can be just as devestating.
There is also a board here for folks who have alcohol problems and they surely can help you.
Congrats on your getting clean from opiates by way of naltrexone, good for you!!!! try and get the alcohol under control ASAP and you will be able to live the life you have wanted. It just takes time and commitment.
