Where you guys been?
hello my dear friend wendy. how are you today. i was sitting at home reading when suddenly i saw the bat signal go off..lol. i was a little shocked to see my name on here this morning, i thought (or was that hoped) that id been long forgotten around here.
ive been keeping busy rebuilding my life and staying clean. today is 89 days for me and im doing pretty good. i usually work all day and go to meetings every evening, then at night i either hang out with others from the meetings or im at home working my steps. ive really been working very hard to learn as much as i can and do all i can to make this work.
it was great to see you mention me, i hope your doing very well these days. so are you?
and to everyone else, i hope you all are doing great and taking care of each other and yourselves. miss you all and i hope everyone has a wonderful and love filled day.....duane

Thank you for the post........I am sorry that I have not been around all that much recently. Life has thrown me a few lemons recently which has kept me a bit pre-occupied. The good news is that I have learned how to make wonderful "lemon aide" with these lemons :) I hope to participate a bit more on our board here now that things are starting to look a bit brighter.....slowy. For all of you who have kept me in thier thoughts and prayers.........I cannot thank you enough for your kindness.......My family here means so much to me when times are a bit tough to endure. Knowing that my friends here will be there with encouragement and love makes even the darkest day seem like the sun is out there somewhere........

Awesome Lone and Majic...It is sooo good to see you both. Your both very bright and want you to stay. Keep coming back. It sounds like both of you have had some bad times but they dont last forever! Glad you both handled it and are back in the saddle!! We miss ya.!

I do not know what happened but knew whatever it was it would be solved. You are too spiritual and you have such good karma...rescuing those dogs, your a great person Russ and glad whatever happened cleared up.

I miss not having access to a computer like I use to. I need to pick up a lap-top soon.
Plus, I went and stayed with one of my girlfriends for a couple weeks and I will be leaving for a brief vacation in Vegas come the 1st. I'm looking forward to the break from dealing with the insurance company and doctors.

i miss you not having access to, it seems just when i started getting what you had been saying you go and dissapear, but thats life huh? i do hope you have healed up well and are doing well. sounds like you have alot going on still, thats always a good thing.
I'm hanging in there. With the holidays, it has been hard. I'm not sure when I will be able to fit the surgery in and it seems as though it has to be me on all the doctors butts to get things done. I have been waiting since the Oct. 31st for word as to whether I need to get another x-ray.
I am just looking so forward to when this is all done and over with.

i always keep you in my prayers, and i will continue to. im sure it will all work out as its supposed to. the holidays can be a hectic and stressfull time. im thinking of hibernating till there over myself.lol. so you still moving out to california when its all said and done or have you picked another spot to in the country to spread you love and joy around.

Yes, the plan is still southern Cali. Unfortunately, I'm stuck here until the first surgery. After that, I will leave for Cali in order to heal and the second surgery will be 4 months later and I will have to fly back.
Hybernation sounds good to me as well. :o)

love and joy, thats right...lol...i always saw you as a traveling angel spreading the word of recovery as you traveled the country touching hearts and then dissapearing to move onto the next town. i guess i just have a romantasized view of you as this wonderful person who only exists in cyberspace. lol.
