M&ms

I know this may seem minor to everyone, but are there M&M addicts out there? Some days I cannot function until I have eaten a few handfuls. I have withdrawl symptoms when I don't have any around and have the worst cravings for the little beasts. I scour the stores for sales where I can get them cheaper, then I buy many large bags. Is it the caffeine that is the driving force behind the M's? HELP.
Are you serious?
You can be addicted to anything. While M & M's may make you gain weight, ask yourself this question: Is it the M & M's or is it the 2 drugs that are in chocolate? (Caffeine and theobromine). It is theobromine that makes people like chocolate. Theobromine is a naturally ocurring drug found in chocolate. It attaches to the same receptors in the brain as does marijuana. Do you
( answer this to yourself ) use pot/hash and eat a lot of M & M's for 'the munchies'?

Do you eat M & M's to keep you alert, much like coffee for some people?

It is easy to become addicted to caffeine, as well as chocolate.

Note: Are you affected by milk? Does milk or do dairy products change your behavior? There is a medical condition that some people for whom the milk protien is not properly metabolized, resulting in a narcotic like compound.
