HEY MARTIN I can't help but posting you here after reading your post on the positive thing thread. Will you be careful where you stick your nose? LOL LOL could have been a bee in there LOL. and we know what happens to you when you get too close to nature. I haven't forgotten the bull story lol

lol...thanks pirate! You're not wrong. I went for a walk with my friend again yesterday and we laughed all over again just remembering it. She's a psychiatric nurse and was working in a rehab clinic this week....man, some sad stories there....one guy in there was likely to die last night....another had just been arrested for exposing himself - took a leak in front of a busload of schoolkids...there but for the grace of God.

I met her at Al-anon. Her husband had stopped drinking for several years but hadn't really addressed any of his underlying issues and had all the isms....just walked out on her and her son. She's a full-on Christian but not pushy about it...I told her it was interesting that she didn't stop to pray when those bulls charged.....lol....Faith or fear, Faith or fear....lol....

Why's she telling you stories about her loonies? Isn't this a breach of oath? Remind me not to go there if I relapse!! That must be 'christian' for "patient confidentiality."

I prefer the "full OFF" Christians. The paradox that is life seems to reward those who don't expose their faith and beliefs (in MY experience). Rather, the good ones seem to be able to walk in it comfortably without telling people they're walking...
Dunno, maybe it's me--being an alcoholic and all, but the whole, "Go and witness," thing pulls on my danglies--and not good.
