Hey everyone...sorry not been around for a while but I have been in hospital for suspected meningitis. The good news is I got the all clear today and its just a viral infection, although its not too good for my little god son. He has it. Some of you may remember a friend of mine who lost her son to this when he was 3 months old?? Well its her 2nd son, and to top it off she only gave birth to her 3rd a week ago.
I am gutted for her but he is in the best place. They say the next 48 hours is critical but they have done a spinal thing where they drain fluid from his spine and he is going for a brain scan today because this type of meningitis can damage the brain.
Will keep you posted anyway.

oh man--thats rough-glad you are ok, is it like hereditary--i cannot remember hearing it was--but for it to be so prevalent in her kids--whatd up with that. my dad had it at 18 and almost died--i know it is highly contagous--let us know--pray 4 her

I'm glad your okay bunny. As for the baby with meningitis very sad to hear. I had meningitis as a baby i fell into a coma i do have sizures now and brain damage from my meningitis. It's so scary to have a sick baby. The family will be in my thoughts.
