Merry Christmas, Everyone

Remember it's just another day with better food. Watch your expectations. Let other people be who they are and we don't have to be in control of everything. Have a WONDERFUL day and hug your little ones for me. I miss having kids around. Next year I'm going to rent one.
Smooches to all.
Ho,Ho,Ho,Ho............not that I'm calling you a Ho.
Merry Christmas,Kat.
I hope everyone here has some peace during this day and enjoy the holidays!
Very good words of wisdom for this Christmas morning, Kat. Merry Christmas to you too. Mine is basically over, I celebrate on x-mas Eve. It went well, all things considered.

Merry Christmas to Tim and Valley too. Tim, I love your surf dogs. I do believe the first one may be a weimaraner, that's what kind of dog I have. How's the weather down in Texas?
Good to see some others up and attem posting this morning. Tim, Kat Atlas. Big hugs.. I'm sitting by my big ol tree lights on and present underneath kinda anticipating my kids comming home in 8 hours. Thanks for the reminder Kat good advice. Gotta get a cuppa
Love,
Jane
Hi Atlas..........It's cold,48 degrees, rainy and basically the weather s*cks.I was planning on getting out but that looks to be a bust.
I hope your weather is better.
Have a great Christmas.

Atlas...It's either a Weinreimer or Chocolate lab.I have chocolate labs so I though it kinda looked like one.
Come on down here, Tim. I think it's supposed to be mid 80s but rainy. A cold front's coming in tomorrow night and it's going down to the 60s and only low 70s for a high. Brrrr. I don't think it's surfy though. I wonder why we don't get surf waves? Or do we? Do people surf in Florida?
Hell Yes....Sebastian Inlet,CoCo beach...great surf spots. The gulf side is not that great.Pensecola has some decent waves.
What side are you on?
I love Florida.
East Coast-Fort Lauderdale
Mid to upper east coast of Florida is better although Ft.Lauderdale gets some. It's not as good. It's like Miami.
I haven't been to Florida since I've been clean.I use to go and party in South Beach and Key West......I can't think of any reason to go to those places sober? I would hit Sebastian Inlet now.My priorities have changed.
Morning, and Merry Chrismtas to you all. Im like you Atlas, most of our celebrating was last night. We dont have any children left here for christms mornign which is alright, hubbby and i slept til 10...no more 5 am christmas mornings, lol.

Im going to make dinner this aftternoon and my grandchildren will come and two of my sons will come also, plus the new grandbaby,so it'll be nice.

As far as weather goes,we really dont have much to complain about here it could be freezing and snowy, but yesterday it was 50 and sunshine, which is amazing for us here in upstate NY.Though i would much prefer your weather Kat...someday...retirement time...i keep wishing.

Take care, hope you all had a great holiday weekend~KIM
Hi jane and Kim, Merry Christmas to you both.

Tim, everyone always thinks my dog is a choc. lab. They max weight for a male is supposed to be 65, but he is 120. Only about 10-15 lbs overweight, just BIG. Has a barrel for a chest! Plus he is a darker 'blue" than usual and I always hear, he kinda looks like a weimy, but he's so big I thought he was a choc. lab! LOL I see his snout and long flappy ears in your pic. Who knows? I love dogs, they never, ever let you down. I think I love mine more than people these days.

I'm watching "A Christmas Story." Ralphie is helping Dad fix the tire and just said "Oh Fuuudge" except he didnt say fudge! Mom is flipping out right now....okay he's got soap in the mouth now....LMAO I watch this every year!
Atlas-One thing I've learned about labs.............they will eat anything and are never full. You have to exercise them a lot.
MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL>>>I HOPE YOUR ALL FEELING AS JOYFUL & CONTENT AS I AM TODAY!!!!
For Tim.....

WARNING THE FOLLOWING IS GRAPHIC AND GROSS, ALTHOUGH HILARIOUS. DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE SQUEAMISH!!!

Okay Tim, I'm going to share a quick story with you, then I must go do some stuff...

Weims don't know when to stop eating either. The other day, I let my weim out for a nice roam around the neighborhood. He was gone for about an hour. No concern, he often does this. I let him in and had to leave.

Hours later, I returned home and smelled something....odd. Not too offensive, but I couldn't quite pinpoint what it was. I chalked it up to dog flatulence and went upstairs. Hubby later asked if I smelled something strange in the office. Yes! But what? I went to go check the office. I didn't really smell anything and the office looked fine.

Hubby checked the family room and called out "OMG, it's puke you have to see it!" I'm thinking WTF? Why do I care to look at puke? I told hubby my arms were full, to take care of it. But hubby insisted I must see this.

I walk into the family room to see two giant piles of meat, big pieces. Meat? Where the hell did that come from? I'm talking two dinner plate size in diameter, and piled high, of MEAT. Of course, we were totally grossed out. The meat was undigested.

It's the end of deer season here, and it happened to be garbage day too. The dog must have hit that jackpot somewhere and found POUNDS, literally, of scraps. Who knows how old or what the meat exactly was, etc. Hubby cleaned it up and said it was a minimum of 5 pounds, maybe 7 pounds. And that's just what he threw up!

I don't know how the damn dog walked home with all that in his gut. Maybe he ate fast, and spent the remaining part of the hours trying to wobble home? I'm convinced that he ate ALL of whatever the hell it was. He probably would have eaten 30 pounds, had it been available!

WTF is wrong with dogs? I'm just looking at him thinking "how can I share my home, my furniture, with such a primitive beast?" LOL So gross! He has also eaten and thrown up deer excrement before. Much worse, although less dramatic.

Sorry for being gross on the Christmas thread, but I did put a disclaimer on it.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

LMAO ............that is gross.

I think I'll have chili for lunch.
LOL Atlas--- My American Bull, when he was a puppy--he was still big---he was out in the backyard and came up to the door for us to let him in and dangling out of his mouth was a big ol rat.....ew.........

Tim
I wrote on another thread that my in-laws live on melbourne beach fl. and we are going there tomorrow. My husband wants to get a surf board, learn to surf, have the kids surf, etc. But Im scared to death because of the sharks!!
