I be going to a pain clinc for 2 years here in N.C Burlington.To start out this story I will make it short I am 44 now in 1985 I hurt my back ,Like my friend any way we found out about somacompondwith codine and we like it . docs later we found out about perks then one more dope pal So we work up to 10 pills each for a dose.We went to Doc , Hosp every day to feed this habit. It was alot of work so we learned how to write are own. Ten years and 3 arests I got out of N.J and came here. I work and cut down on the perks for awhile Then I foundso called new friends and found out I can just buy them so I did up to 2 years ago. Then I found a pain clinic Ibe going there forthe past 2 years taken 90 2mgs 120 methadone 180 5 mgs perksevery month . as of last week my Doc sends all his pataients 100 of them aletter saying he is closeing his officeas of that day and for 25 dollars you can pick up your files with meds for 30 days. thats it . I dont know what to do his phone was cut off so you cant even get referl from him . What a Doctor

It sound's like you have had a rough time with your addiction.Those pain pill's are a b....! I don't know whether you would even want to consider cold turkey.
That doesn't sound much of an option,that just my opion,but you know what they say about that.I was A pain pill addict for about 8 year's. I went on methadone 18 month's ago it has saved my life up to this point.I'm now trying to ween down some so I can try to get off of it all together and be drug-free.I go to AA almost every night,it works for me .That just a suggestion there's also NA
It's a rough road but you can do it, there's lots of people on this board with alot of hope.I didn't really understand you on the meth part are you going to go to a meth clinic?

roger i'm not sure i understood you correctly are you trying to get off the meds or are you searching for somewhere else to get them maybe i just missed somethin but i have been on methadone noe for about 2 years and they are the worst things to get off of. my dr. gives me a rx for 8 2mg's daily i haves weened down to 2 1/2 so maybe i can get off all together real soon but it has taken a while. sorry if i misunderstood something
