Been waiting for the Good morning coffee club since 5. LOL. I'm not used to getting up this early at all. I must say, I'm not liking it. First day back to work in 4 months. I'm sure I'll be tired later.

Good Morning Gabs,
Yeah first day back in what seems like a long time. Feels pretty good knowing there is some hope catching up on bills that got so far behind. Getting up so early though is something I'll have to get used to again. I'm used to getting up at 10 and going to bed at 2am. lol, well doubt I will be going to bed that late tonight. lol.
I'm just so tired already so it should be a long day. lol. How are you this morning?

Yeah first day back in what seems like a long time. Feels pretty good knowing there is some hope catching up on bills that got so far behind. I'm okay cept this bloody tooth that i got sorted last week is really giving me some pain :( but i've just booked another dental appt ARGH!!!! for this thursday at 10.40am, which hoefully he'll just give me antibiotics, cos i have to have a root canal done in april!!! WAH WAH (i'm such a baby when it comes to the dentist)
Other than my poorley toof, i am fine, still on 2mg of sub-I just cant seem to get past this, d'you know i've been on sub since the summer of 2002!!! Boy that time has flown, but as my drug workers always saying its me that decides when to reduce, i've come to a stop, i think he needs to give me a nudge!!! But cas my scripts already been done for my hol (going to see my brother in germany at the end of this month) I will reduce when i come back (yeah i know any excuse to drag it out, that me!!!)

Just have to tell ya before I get going. I have read real good things about getting off the sub. Doesn't sound bad, ya know? You can do it. You got this far. I hate tooth aches. Been a long time since I've had one but I remember it well. You think you sound like a baby, should had seen me. I couldn't get an appointment fast enough when my tooth started in. LOL. WOW Redd, thats great xxx how do you get a 1/2 mg tablet though? i thought they only made 16mg, 8mg, 2mg and 0.4mg tabs? so i'm just curious how you'd get that amount?
I'm cutting the hell out of my 2mg, it will be like dust under my tongue, almost like a sugar pill ya' know? Just so my mind thinks I took something maybe. But really though, this is what my doctor told me to do. We are tapering really slow, so I might wait a few more days, its been a week that I dropped to 1mg and I drop every 10 days. I just made my decision, I'll wait til Thursday......Thanks Gabs, I needed that chat.

Arrrr I see!!!! I thought maybe i was wrong and you could get a 1/2 mg tab!!! Durrr........
Let me tell you what my drugworker was told at this conference by this doctor, I cant say i agree, but let me share this with ya anyway.
What this doctor said is if a paitent is on any lower dose than around 4mg then he wouldnt sign their scripts cos he sez that with the pharmacology(sp?) of sub then any lower dose than this just doesnt do anything???? Now what this doc recons is that when we get to below around 4mgs then its the placebo affect??? Now i know our minds are powerful, and this may be true but in my experiance if i dont have my 2mg dose of sub in the a.m. then i do feel rough, but my drug worker says this is pretty much all in my head now!!!!!........like i said i dont really belive him, cos if it is in my head then it has a strong knock on effect to my body!!!!!................So there it is, what a g!t of a doctor, and boy am i glad he dosent sign my scripts, but you never know maybe it is all a placebo affect for us now???? who knows? all i know is i feel rough if i dont have it!...............summat to think about though! xxx

I just wanted to jump in and say g'mornin - before I jump back into bed lol - the kids are off to school, and I actually have NO appts. today!!
I havent been on too much lately, I've been cutting (tapering) way back on the percs (were going to try the spinal epidurals) so I have enough for three more days, then I will be opiate free again!!!! It's strange, because this time around I feel really positive, not scared. I went out and bought some more vitamins (I'm doing a low carb diet as well) - so I'm really actually looking forward to it. I've felt hardly any wd at all. I just didnt want to end up back where I was when I first came to this board. So........we'll see what happens.
Liz, have a great 1st day back at work. MJ, Gabs, Redd, Jax, Boo, and the rest of the gang have a wonderful day. I'll be checking back in later. I have a big fluffy comfortor and down pillow calling my name.....lol
BTW....I think all of you are doing absolutely wonderful. I think with the sub it might just be a "subconsious" thing" just to let that last little bit go. I KNOW you can do it!!!
