I've seen a couple of your posts and saw that you are on suboxone. I am as well and I wanted to know how you're doing. How much do you take and how long do you think you will be on it? I'm sorry if I'm getting to personal, but I think you and I are pretty much on the same page and I am devouring any kind of information I can get about this. How are you feeling?

Hey Redd no your not getting to personal.If I can help with your recovery as well as mine than thats great.I've finally settled into 8mg a day.I feel great!!!Not high but I feel good.My body adjusted pretty good.The first couple days I had yuck tummy but I've learned to eat alittle something(Which is different)so that helps.I'm eating 3 times a day which I haven't done since I was pregnat.somehow I'm losen alittle weight which I needed anyways.I feel good.Its scarey I keep expecting it to go down hill but its not.It has been 7 days since my last Ultram and no body aches,or anything!!!!I had the weepies for the first couple days but I kinda just rode with it.
Enough of me how are you and how is your body feeling.I think the mental addiction is worse than anything but I guess I just have to get in the habit of NOT having a habit.Please keep me updated on you.If I can help at all I'm always around(Sad I have no life outside of my home)No I enjoy being a homemaker its the most rewarding job I ever have had.Keep In touch.....mj

Yes, thats me, here in Michigan, and the snow is still coming and it is so pretty outside right now. I hope you're doing good, where are you at again?

Thanks for posting back. I'm so glad to hear you are doing good, I have heard and read so many different things about suboxone and its nice to hear positive things about it. This whole recovery process is so overwhelming and I have to keep telling myself to go one day at a time. As far as I go, I feel good. No headaches or stomach problems, no cravings. I have kind of lost my appetite a little but I don't know if that is the sub or my brain thinking so much.
I'm on 8mg a day for now and will slowly taper off. My goal is to be pill free (of anything) in 6 to 8 weeks. I've heard the quicker you get off this stuff the better, but I don't want to rush either. I'm hoping if I am opiate free for 6 or 8 weeks that tha desire to use will be much less or gone. Honestly I do miss that feeling from oxy or vic, if I really think about it, so I'm glad there is a blocker.

There is no such thing as butting in here, I'm glad to hear from you. And yes, more snow is coming but I don't mind, my son and 2 dogs (beautiful golden retrievers) love it.

Your very welcome and I am glad you are feeling better.I guess my only down fall is my energy level but my MD said in about 1mth I should be able to feel the difference.Now the mental part I'm thinking thats like saying goodbye to an old lover but I think BOTH of us can do this.You also keep me updated OK???MJ

I have 2 boys...9 and 4 and i have a NEW wonderful puppy! Here name is Harley Davidson!!! We call her Harley. she is a baby yellow lab. Well, she's realy not new anymore...she was 8 weeks when we got her and now she is 14 weeks old. She loves the snow too!!! she was scared at first and wouldnt pee in it, so we had to shovel a spot for her. she is sooo small and you cant even see her in the snow half the time!!!
Im glad that you were able to find a sub dr. around you! I didnt think that there was any in Mich. or at least not around us!!! You might have to let me know sometime. But for now im keeping my hopes high that i will be able to beat this thing!!!

Yes, I'm in Macomb county, about 20 miles north east of Detroit. Congrats on the new puppy! Labs and retrievers are the BEST dogs, especially for kids. Mine are 15 and 11 years old and the 15 year old is still very active, I just love her to death. I saw this saying one time that said "I hope I can be the person my dog thinks I am" and man, is that true! I also have a son who is 5. He's my only one and I thank God for him everyday, he is a great kid, he's like this old soul in this little body. I have learned alot from him.
