you should write a book about your life, i love hearing your lil tid bits. it makes me smile. i live the smell of outdoor crackling fires and hiking in the woods. living off the land as much as i can. growing veggies and fresh flowers. playing on the water. and yes even sitting in the sand throwing mud pies at each other hehehhehe oh and when it snows....just look out!!!!

sorry to hear about your son, no fun cleaning it up, and not fun to see your kids sick,,,,,,,,,,Ladies, I am doing well, something about coming out of hospitol & not being given a death sentence, When you were convinced that's what was going to happen, just makes you kind of different, at least in my mind
I Have walked around like this for 7 years now, after a Dr. in Ct. told me after a particular test, thay I would had a 95% chance that I would have cerrosis of the liver.........BAD DEPRESSION!!
So 7 years were taken away after he said that, But i'm not going to dwell on this, I Have to make up for lost time......Even with the birth of 11 month old grandson, while I was thrilled to death to have him, I Never thought I'd be around him for long, & it was breaking my heart,
Now my son just bought a huge 4 bedroom home, & they need my help, and I Have goosebumps right now just telling you about this.
I Cn't wait to just feel well enough to participate in life again.
My attitude about a lot of things have changed so much,
All the swelling is gone, Of course I'm on lasisk.........Who have thought that a couple of pills would take care of that
well I am rambling........but I am happy again, haven't been able to say that in years........I Know they are going to have to remove my gall bladder soon, & Janet do you have kidney stone or gallstones? I have several kidney stones that they hope will pass, I Don;t know what they do if they don't pass.......Do you know wheathe that would be causing severe pain in my back?
Also What foods are high in potassium, (hate banna") That was critically low when I got to the ER........I have to start taking better care of myself

I've had gallstones and had my gallbladder taken out...funny story, I went to the dr for a Urinary tract infection, mentioned that my ribs on my right side felt funny, so I had an Ultrasound done. Sure enough I had Gallstones, so I went to the surgeon to set up my surgery...but I mentioned that I was a week late on my period...low and behold, I've got Dylan...lol...I didn't have my gallbladder taken out till he was 18 months old, and it was ready to burst.
As for the Kidney stone....well, if I've passed the little booger, I missed it. They said it was 2mm big, so I figure I will probably know it.
I did have severe pain in my upperback and ribs before the gallbladder came out...and the night before surgery I had such pain in my ribs that I was rolled up in a ball crying, I thought that I was going to die...I was fortunate to be going in the next day, had a laparascopy done and I was up and about within 2 days of surgery.
Briana is one of the Potassium experts...she will know what the foods are...

Hey Dottie, I'm just here for a few minutes, but I saw your post and wanted to reply. A lot of times, they'll prescribe Librax, Lesvin, Bentyl or Donnatal for it if you're bloated or having abdominal pain. I hope you feel better.
