My daughter has been gone from her sober living home for a month now. As i said before she is staying with a friend who she used to use with. She says she isn't using, but she isn't going to NA meetings or doing anything healthy towards her recovery. When I see her she seems good. I am letting her sleep over for just tonight. She confuses me. My head knows that addicts are clever but my heart wants to believe that she is staying clean. She begs me every day to come home. I tell her she can once she proves that she is doing the right things towards her recovery. I sometimes feel like I am feeding her to the wolves by not letting her come home. This is a horrible disease. May God bless all those that are in active use, in recovery & the family of the addicts.
