My Daughters Been To Court

Hi to yopu all hope your all safe and well.

Went to court with my daughter on friday 29th Feb. I stood up in the court room and delivered a good speach, well at least I thought it was. How we as a faimily have rights and that if the young adult wants to live at home then we should be told the truth, about his or her drug use,if they don't want us to know leave home and keep away.

I spoke of the heart ache we have all gone through,Kirsty included, and about how little help there is in our area. She has now been put on a drugs rehab order .She has to attened the centre four times a week she is urine tested twice a week, and at last she will be put on a script. She will have group sessions as well asone to one .Also she must attened the adult learning classes.Once a month she has to go back to court to see if she is doing well

If she slips back to often the order will be revoked and she will be taken into custody. Please give a little pry for her ,I think this is her best chance other than that she will be in and out of custody for a long time

My thoughts are with you all

Welsh Lady

Prayers said, dear lady.
iknow a guy who was put on a d.t.t.o,which i imagine is the same thing your daughter is on,it,s a last alternative yo custody.anyway this chap is in his fifties and was doing fairly well on his testing order but stupidly thought he could make a few pound by way of dealing.to cut a long story short he got caught and was sent to prison for around a year.luckily for him the people were willing to pick him back up on his release and carry on with the testing order twice a week or his sentence would have been considerely more.he is now holding down a job for the first time in his life and doing great.he is on 20ml of meth and is sticking to that on its own.believe me if that (nut)guy can do it there is hope for us all,and when im detoxing very soon ,im going to think of him as my inspiration.not my reason just my inspiration that we can do it,so from a determined scotsman to u and your daughter, good luck and god bless.being clean is wonderful, thats why i want to be there again, took me long enough and enough relapses to know that i must stay away from the alchohol as well.eckie........bonnie scotland........
Welsh Lady, I am so happy to hear that the judge listened to you and that things worked out. You are an awesome mom to take up for you daughter and insist that she get help. Prayers going out to you and your family. God Bless!

Welsh Lady, i'm so glad to hear your daughter is getting some help and that she isn't needing to wait for months n moths. Hope you have a good mothers day, Kev

Eckie, what's up? Hope all is well, Kev
Hi Welsh Lady
I'm so glad things have finally turned a corner for you and your little girl. Sometimes its the hardest route which finds the best resolution!
Obviously there's a long way to go but at least she's finally on script. Just take one day at a time. It's amazing how we find an inner strength to stand up for our kids and well done YOU! You were there for her when she really did need you - I'm so proud of you my Welsh friend.
I know with all the love and support she has from you, your little girl will make good. There will be ups and downs but have faith! I will pray for you and your daughter.
At least Mother's Day can be something to celebrate honey, so got out and do so.
Always in my thoughts
Luv Christina x
oh man--ill bet you are feeling better--like its not all on you anymore (it never was) but i know it probably felt that way--its up to her now--she has to do the right thing, and finally she can get a script--how is she feeling baout all this? let her know we are all rooting for her and i said it does get better--just to take her time--day to day--there is life after heroin, and a dang good one at that
