This is my ALLTIME favorit Christmas song. Very beautiful and very powerful.
Here goes
Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day walk on water
Mary did you know that your baby boy will save our sons and daughters
Did you know that your baby boy has come to make us new
This child that you delivered will soon deliver you
Mary did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man
Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm the storm with his hand
Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod
And when you kiss your little baby boy, you kiss the face of God
Oh, Mary did you know?
The blind will see
The deaf will hear
The dead will walk again
The lame will leap
The dumb will speak
The praises of the lamb
Mary did you know that your baby boy is lord of all creation
did you know that your baby boy will one day rule the nations
Did you know that your baby boy is Heaven's perfect lamb
The sleeping child your holding is the Great I Am
Briar.............I love that one, too. Have been listening to the version by Kathy Mattea this year. Also love "Where Are You Christmas?" by Faith Hill.
HAve a great day!
Are there country music fans on this Board? And I thought I was unique. lol
i like a lot of country music, remember the Bellamy bros "Old Hippie" or "The single man & his wife" or THuner road by Garth.

"Chestnuts roasting on an open fire..."
Always gets me.
Always gets me.
None, no, I'm not a country music fan... I'm not a big music person for the most part (you get into my car and I'm usually listening to Talk Radio or watching a DVD)..... Maroon 5 is my favorite right now and that song "She Will Be Loved" is the best out there....
As far as Christmas songs, I know it's corny, but I LOVE that "We Are The World" song..... every time I hear it, it just reminds me of being 12 again....

Ya know what...???? That we are the world is a beautiful song.I'm trying to remember the name of a John Lennon song,it was a Christmas one and I can't remember the name boy do I feel dahhhhhh...mj
MJ I don't know if this is the title, but I love that John Lennon song too, It starts off with. "So this is Christmas, what have you done? Another year over, another just begun.
Does that help? lol

YES THATS THE ONE!!!!That song has alot of meaning to me.I think it has a message for all of us ya know...mj
Mollyjean and Liz, I take back my choice.... THAT is my favorite Christmas song!!!!!!!!!
Yep John Lennon was a very very great song writer. There isn't too many things of his I don't like. How are danielle? Are you doing OK?.....mj
little drummers good so is ava maria, but if i ever hear we are the world again i think i might do wat john balushi did to that guitar player in animal house. years ago a iwas at a exhibition & i was showing a sony big screen, & 8mm video camera display, & that we are the world was on again & again & again & again...."so this is Crhistmas' is one of my faovrites, i think that & "instant karma" are about the only john lennon songs i like. the best yoko ono ever did was 2 minutes of silence, were there actually was nothing on the record. the problem with anything else of hers was u heard her.
Yoko sounds like a kitty that got dropped into water!!!!!That was mean huh? sorry.I think I'm gonna jump off and go tickle my daughter awake so I'll be back around later until then take care,,,,,mj
Mollyjean, I'm doing fine.... Am doing my best to stay on the schedule of only taking my pills two times a day (hopefully tomorrow I can start with one time a day).
Am going to go to my first AA meeting today..... nervous about what to expect with that, but I HAVE to go..... Wish I could fly all of you over here to go with me, though

Brown- Not to bust your bubble, but YES also had Instant Karma in one of their songs, called "YOUR MOVE" They also sang GIVE PEACE A CHANCE in the same song...think there is a connection?
Im Not that old but I love perry comeo I would listen when I was little at a friend house we didnt listen to music when I grow up but the intruments we played were wonderful I plaled the flute and coudnt caarry a tune . so just sang we dealt with alot of wood so we would make alot the elders would. some of the intruments i grow up alittle dreffrent but very nice ...love poopie
i guess when u said p comomiomimo or whatever (almost seemed like u were talking about a cameo cooky) u must mean old Perry Como. So I guess you gotta be about 60 something (LOL) Next thing i know, somene who's not italian is gonna tell me they like Frank Sinatra & watching Lucille Ball & SHirley Temple. help.
Danny, I didn't know Yes has a song like that. Is it any good. Personally, i think give Peace a Chance is about the second stupidist song ever. The first is Imagine (stupid & hipocrytical on Johns part).
Wn i was about 18 or so i thought the first one was very cool. as what little was left of my brain devoloped over the next few years i realized the whole premise of the song was about as stupid as Nancy Reagans "justy say no"
I mean, like no one ever tried to give peace a chance, like chamberlin given up Czecklisovakia to Hitler to give peace a chance, and it would have been great if England & US gave peace a chance & let the nazis take over the world. it goes on & on, I used to love the Beatles, but I don't know where this John Lennon comes off as being someone so special to people.
