i have a friend who works with me and she has three children and smokes marijuana what can i do? i dont want to turn her cause shes a friend and plus her children are grown... but still i worry about my friend... i dont want other people finding out and someone truning her in and she losing her children and maybe her husband... please someone give an advice, i normally post in crystal meth and cocaine and crack boards...
It is really none of your business. Why would you even consider turning her in? Focus on yourself. Why does this bother you so?
I dont see the issue unless the children are in clear danger. Is this a moral issue for you?
well to begin with, friends don't turn friends in....Also why are you worried about someone else finding out that she does it? Is it because someone else knows that she is your friend, and they might assume that since your friends, you might be a drug user as well? There is a likelyhood that she isn't going to quit until something in her life goes wrong. If you are truly worried about her, pull her aside privately and let her know that you know, and that if you know, other people probably knows also. We all have had friends that do drugs, and trust me your not going to talk them into quitting, unless the really want to do it for theirselves.

trust me she is not the only person who has children that smokes pot! are these children in danger? you said they were grown. are we talking out of the house grown or teenagers? either way this is her issue and not yours! does she know that you know? did she confide in you? if so, you can not betray her trust. maybe just try being there for her. i do not advocate smoking pot but would never ever ever turn anyone in for it. i would not have liked it if someone turned me in when i was smoking. you state you post on the crack board. are you an addict? if so then you should understand what addiction is all about. if this is your friend then you should be there for her and not even think of bringing such drama to her life. she will quit when she is ready and no one else can decide when that will be for her.
AMEN Cajun Lady!! I couldn't have said it better myself & if you took the time to read this board at all you would know that most of us have children. How come its such an issue if the mom smokes but noone is ever worried about fathers smoking. What a slap in the face this post is to all us moms trying to stay clean, not only for ourselves but most of all FOR OUR KIDS! I think you were just coming here to make some of us feel unsafe posting honestly about our situations. As far as I'm concerned you can go back to the board you came from. Heres to day 17 for me & I will not let anyones manipulations steal my focus!
