The only time I ever used my lighter was to spark up. I am looking at it right now and I'm having a hard time. I am holding on to my logical responses (recovery tools in my mind) I just made to other members on this board by a string, and I'm asking my grandmas spirit to help me. I want to light candles with my stupid lighter. But I don't even want to do the motion of clicking on it. My tummy is turning, I could use a little yelling or prayers, or whatever suits you right now. Anybody out there? Today is day 12. My head is pounding. I'm going to go drink a big glass of water, meditate, stare at a wall for 15 minutes, something healthy. BBL

Wonderwoman... hang in there... i am praying for you... i know this is tough... yeah, when i quit i had to throw out my old "party" lighters and take the black light down along with the posters. You CAN DO THIS though... just keep on keepin' on!

Hi Bri, I love your new avatar. My daughter set mine up for me, as I'm not as computer savvy as the child is. The lasso of truth was crucial for me, that's why wonderwoman only has one arm. :-) I will keep your words in mind on my road trip. I'm bringing some favorite tunes and a big jug of water. "Keep on keepin' on" will be my mantra. The meds I'm on are giving me dry mouth worse than any weed has. Geez.

Occasionally you will need to light something, (candle or whatever) if you have a different way to "make fire" without all the emotional baggage of the lighter, you can accomplish this task. Life after drugs means finding different solutions to everyday problems. If a rock is in your way, and you can't move it, go around it, go over it, go under it. The solution for you was the website in this instance but sooner or later you will encounter a situation that the internet won't solve. Be creative.
