Hey Bryn-(Id figure you would read this)

I went to see a old friend of mine who teaches at Temple- -I got a little lost, but what is up with that area???- - It looked a little shaky for a college area-
Just got back- man that ride was longer than I thought- ( 2 plus hrs)
But- I guess a tough part of Harlem is a stones throw from Columbia in NYC- so shi8 can be deceiving
But I was surprised anyway- - probably just as surprised as you are to hear that I have a friend who teaches there- -lol

jackkkk
It can be especially bad if you don't know where you are going. One wrong turn and ....war zone.
Did you duck the whole time you were driving? Where'd you park?

Jack, nothing you do or nobody you know surprises me. That's what keeps me pouting my lips whenever I type to ya. Oh I put on perfume too.

Put it this way that's where someone really close to me goes to school. Like close as in they have my DNA. I'd have actually felt safer if she'd have stayed in the dorm there this person. Nope, she moved into some squatter at 5 and duece as they call it at Baltimore. Accepted to University Of Pennsylvania, but there's an old commercial people joke about that goes "I could have went anywhere, but I chose Temple".

That being said it is a good school. It's unfortunate for the neighboring community the blight they live in. How shifty were the corners? LOL Depending where you live it can be quite easy to get to. Suburbia actually you take the R5 and it drops you off right there. Up where we live in Philly it's a bus, subway. It's a major pain for the kids to get there.

Crazy right? All I know if my dad was still living he'd be dead knowing this relative is traipsing around loooooooooong after class is over as if they're street smart. But again there are fine teachers, professors. They have a good law school. Still it's the getting there as you saw. It's the getting out of the car or off the bus or subway. Then again that can happen at any school. Anywhere.

Jack, I wish I knew you were visiting. I'd have met you for lunch. Only in Center City. LOL You're always welcome in the "Greater Northeast" as they call it.

Hoping you enjoyed your friends company. Heck, no I am not surprised I repeat. You're a man of many facets, babes.

BTW, said DNA bearer who would have a big IN in law school has now decided to become a parole officer. Then she goes "Wait. No a probation officer". I told her to just go take the police force test. At least she'd have a firearm and they'd pay for her education.

Jack, you could have chosen anywhere to visit your friend, BUT you chose Temple.

You and Doctor Huxtable.
Bryn
I dont venture down south of here a real lot. but the next time I do- - -Ill let you know.
You can make me a tunafish on whole wheat- & we,ll brown bag it in a park. Its cheaper than one of those fancy lunch places. -
-ooH, maybe you can find me a real philly cheese steak???- whadda think???

-AWAY- from Temple University though-

jack
don't forget meeeee!
Alice- - I keep forgetting your a Philly girl too. Yeah >, one of these days Im gonna come down there for something- -and you 2 are going to show me the best CheeseSteak place intown- - We,ll do a late lunch before I get back on the Turnpike-
What the hell- ya cant eat healthy all the time, we would never eat anything that taste good - -
(& If youse need a ride to NY- I have room for two)lol
bestest,
jackk
O.K. I'll share. Not my steak sandwich though.

Crack myself up.

Watch Alice P and I will have a fight over Pat's or Gino's.

"Youse".

Cracks me up too. Hi, Alice! Look while we're at it we can go get Tina over the bridge. T you ever use the Betsey? Like who uses that bridge?
I was thinking the same thing Bryn. We probably wouldn't agree on a best cheesesteak place. (I like Jim's with mushrooms, and hot peppers)

I eat one every year whether I need it or not. Now don't get me started on a P&S hoagie with sarcone's seeded roll and aged provolone cheese.
