Well done Honey I am made up for you. Going into detox, I remember when I first went into a 'proper' dteox and it was in a psychiatric hospital, what an experience that was!! You know what though at least once you go in there and complete it, you will have the chance to make up your mind about what it is you want to do with your day. To me the worst thing about being a addict is having my choices taken away from me. In order to function like a 'normal' person we have to take something - what kind of madness is that?? So after 2 weeks or how ever long you are there for, once youy leave you will be free to make your own choices. To put it in its most simplest terms you an turn left and use or turn right and stay clean. What ever you choose you will have made that choice whereas right now there is no choice, right now you have to use or otherwise you will be sick. I don'r care what ever anyone else says when I am an active addict all of my choices are taken away from me, and they only return once my body is clean of drugs.Good luck and let me know how you are getting on. Have they given you any indication how long it is you will have to wait for a bed? I am going away myself in the morning no matter how hard I think I try I just can't seem to do it in Bristol therefore I am off for how ever long it takes for me to feel safe enough to return here.
HI DANY,THEY SAID ITS A PROMOTIONAL THING THERE DOING TO SEE HOW SUCSESFULL IT IS??IT WILL BE ABOUT ANOTHER 3/4 WEEKS BEFORE I GET IN OR ANY WORD OF GETTING IN.SO I FOTE I'D DO THE HARD BIT MASEL BEFORE GOING!!!! I'VE HAD NOTHING ALL DAY AND I FINK AM GONNA DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ITS SO MUCH EASYR TO GIVE IN AND SCORE INIT?IM DEBATING WHATR TO DO RIGHT NOW,SO YOUR LEAVING BRISTOL IN THE MORNING?ARE YOU GONNA STAY WITH FRIENDS OR WHAT?WHAT ARE YOU ON??I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST AND HOPE ONE OF US CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!GOOD LUCK.NAD
