Has anyone had one of these for heroin addiction and how did they get on

I was offered the implant but decided to give the Naltrexone pills a go first. They worked well enough but it also depends on how strong you are. Once you got the implant thats it until it runs out - but the pills you obviously have to take yourself and be committed.
My son had the 9 month implant. Worked well but didn't stop him using other drugs. When it wore off he relapsed. The only drawback with the implant is when you get another implant the put it on the top of the first one and it looks like a tennis ball in your abdomin. You have to have them surgically removed they don't desolve.
